For what it's worth, we've sold more Ford's than any dealer in Iowa the last 2 months. We will in January too.
Is there another step after my order has been confirmed before it is scheduled or is the next step after confirmation the scheduled build date email? The reason I asked is my local dealer mentioned a verification step as part of the order flow process.

On our end we have to verify the order with Ford. That's why we collect driver's license, etc. To verify it's a real person placing an order.

Thanks for setting up this deal Granger! I've never owned a Ford before, can't pass up on a deal. Should be interesting to fly down from Wisconsin and drive it back home.
Depending on which part of WI, could be a pretty short trip. If you can't get a cheap flight, you might be able to snag a one way car rental on Autoslash and drive down instead.
Hopefully it won't be the last Ford!

I've only owned two Fords, I'm mostly an import guy. I tried a couple of times in the 90s to buy a Probe GT but I always ended up with something else.
I had a 2015 Fiesta base model (with a manual) that I drove for four years (I got it in 2014 and traded it in 2018). I never had any problems with it and it got fantastic gas mileage. It was very basic, but it filled my needs at the time.
My other Ford was a 1994 Ranger XLT 2WD I bought used and had for a couple of years, never any problems with it either.
I'm looking forward to the Maverick!

Pretty much the same - Aerostar, Expedition, Focus, 3 x F-150, Fiesta and when/if my Maverick gets here I expect it to be my last vehicle, as well as a Ford.
Think your issue is going to be with Ford, they cut off the 22 orders on the 27th. You might get Granger to do the deal on a 23 when you can order those, but I doubt it.
Agreed, offer from Granger is until Jan 31st, but orders from Ford for MY22 ended Jan 27th. Btw, good luck to all who ordered the Maverick! We will wait and see what unfolds....
