When ordering for Mavericks opened up we were told (from many sources) that the date of reservation was the critical date and trucks would be built accordingly. I don't think the allocation is fair as only huge dealers are getting orders filled. Also was told that the very first trucks built would be First Editions. What good is a FE when it is one of the last to be built.. Just my 2 cents worth.

I was just called by Grapevine Ford and told that Ford has discontinued making the nybrid and that if I want a Maverick I will have to switch to the ecoboost engine. I called Ford Marketing and while he seemed to be confused he finally said that yes the hybirds have stopped being make. Does anyone have any insight on this? I ordered July 12.
Definitely inaccurate. They stopped taking orders for the hybrid back in mid-November, but they are still building the ones that have been ordered. If you want a hybrid, you'll have to wait until MY23 or luck up and find one that a customer didn't take and hope for little or no markup on it.

Also, today is the last day they'll take orders for the MY22 Ecoboost as well.

I'm seeing a couple of people with hybrid orders that just got their build date pushed back, so it seems like Ford is having more supply chain issues with hybrid specific parts. Nobody is saying their orders were cancelled, so it seems like they've temporarily stopped making hybrid orders while waiting on parts, and the temporary part got lost in the telephone game from corporate, through the dealership, on it's way to you.

Seems like this would deserve its own thread, if true.
Yea, I am just confused if this is true or what. The original price on the order I had was 28k now it is about 32k
"Discontinued" sounds like no more will be made. I think we're talking either they are not taking any more orders or production is temporarily halted/slowed-down due to supply issues.
I just was talking to the dealer again and he said they have no hybrid motors. and won't be building any more of the hybrids.

I would not trust Grapevine Ford and their Sales team. I walked away from them when I tried order my Hybrid XLT and they wanted to add over $1k in dealer add on's. Ended up and Sam Pack Ford /Lewisville

Yea, I am wondering they now want 2500 in markup that was not on my original build.

Dealer is wrong - bottom line.

Not sure how, but I got scheduled!!!!

HPR XLT, Lux package, 2.0 Ecooboost, AWD, CP 360, FX-4, and Spray in bed-liner. Ordered October 8th. March 14th build week.

My dealership had a few scheduled. Must be an allocation thing.

We are all screwed. Do not expect any Hybrid scheduling today.

Ford executives are targeting high profit builds. They stood up and said so.
Where do you think that leaves us?
Only Maverick builds gonna be scheduled are those that have all parts on hand right now. Parts and chips will be dedicated to profit making models.

Come on Ford, tell me that is not the truth!

My first order was placed 6-12-21, second one mid August. Both are Hybrid Lariat Lux with 360.
Hybrid builds are being pushed back already, why should we hope for any good news today?
Looks like our hybrid orders will be pushed to MY 2023 if we get them at all. Then there is no lock on the pricing once they get sent to next model year.

I really WANT my orders but I am lucky enough that I do not NEED them.

This bull crap delay stuff from Ford has soured me on a brand that I have supported since the 60's
I've ordered multiple vehicles in my lifetime and have NEVER owned a Ford. I'm like you, in that Ford has soured me with this process, even more than I already was. I also don't need a vehicle so I'm going to wait this thing out. Who knows what happens after I finally get this truck. At least I know at this point if I get a truck and don't like it I won't lose too much money unloading it. Good luck with your builds.

Some of you guys are confusing Hybrid and Ecoboost... Ecoboost is not hybrid just saying.

I have a July 8th order XLT Hybrid from Chapman, nothing scheduled either.
I'm not talking about the Bronco-you/Granger got screwed by Ford on that allocation system/crap they did. And I'm sorry.

My dealer's in the same region as Granger, yet per a fellow Granger:

@Granger Ford
Not an EB order, but as to my October hybrid order with Granger (M131), nothing but crickets from Ford.
I have contacted Granger a few times and they can't tell me much of anything except my place in line has advanced from # 66 to # 36 in 3 months and no estimate of when I might get it. I'm still looking for an update from them.

So Granger got at least 30 filled since production and my dealer hasn't had 1 (6 total orders). So tell me how Granger isn't get any preferential treatment over other dealers in the region.

WE can agree to disagree. The allocation system is crappy and screws over everyone at some point in the ordering/build process.
I also have a Maverick ordered on June 22 from Granger and guess what, I don’t have it yet.

It's the additional DIOs (Dealer installed options)... Looking at Reddit, seems like there were a good chunk of Hybrid Lariat Lux that got pushed back a WHOLE month and it looked like they all had DIOs; floor mats, covers, etc.. I also have a Hybrid Lariat Lux confirmed 7/28 and scheduled for 2/28, but no reschedule notice. I don't have any DIOs. My suspicion is that you're not getting scheduled because of those.
