I'm really not sure what you are babbling about but people here have been scheduled for production with order dates well after mine. I'm also certain it's the dealers who want allocations and not Ford. Small dealers would never get orders over the large dealers.Ahhh - so while you are defending Ford think about this - Lets say you ordered your entry door in August and you find out a dude that ordered the same exact door in October received his door while you are still waiting. You say hey what gives, Ive been waiting since August and they tell you hey man sorry we fill the orders from the highest volume stores first. You say WHAT ? I bought this at Home Depot a national business ( similar to Ford being one eh ? ) and you are told - sorry we have this thing called "allocations" which ships doors to the bigger stores first no matter when you ordered it. Sadly you get on a forum for Home Depot Doors and complain and someone Defends Home Depot and makes fun of you ........

The allocation to big dealers, etc applies to other businesses also. We recently built a new house, but the local appliance stores where we ordered all of our appliances did not receive the appliances, but they were in stock at the big box stores(Home Depot/Best Buy) After 6 months, we ended up buying from Best Buy since the smaller shop wasn't getting any allocations of appliances.Ahhh - so while you are defending Ford think about this - Lets say you ordered your entry door in August and you find out a dude that ordered the same exact door in October received his door while you are still waiting. I don't know, but a lot of orders scheduled the past two weeks have been LUX packages (both lariat and XLT - eco and hybrid). How long can they keep using that excuse?? I just don't know. My dealer doesnt communicate and when I ask these things, all I get is "well, allocations don't matter, how many ahead of you don't matter, we make everyone a priority 19"....yada yada yada. I am not buying it. The system is flawed and its making me not want to buy a ford again, honestly.I actually made the reservation 6/12 but didn't configure it for 2 months. I am a sales rep and the day I reserved mine, I reserved one for a client and his was delivered at the beginning of this month. TBH I think the Lux package definitely slows things down. Fingers crossed yours will be scheduled soon. Call your dealer and find out what priority number yours has. Mine was moved to priority 2 about a couple of weeks ago
I've been Priority 2 since November. I'm probably going to call Ford later on and see if I can get any information although I doubt it. I made my reservation the week before my order. My salesman and I stay in regular contact. He's a pretty cool guy and we are going to use him to order my Boyfriend's F250 for his replacement work truck when the time comes.I actually made the reservation 6/12 but didn't configure it for 2 months. Hybrid! Forgot to include that major detailHybrid or Ecoboost? Congrats!
I removed my spray in a few weeks ago. Didn't get scheduled last week. If I don't get my June 10th order this week, they obviously dont after the still ongoing bronco fiasco. This is just another. And you can't just blame the current shortage environment. the allocation system is broke on top of that which is the biggest issue. Some people already have their XLT with Lux. Some/most of us keep getting the spray in excuse.
November? There's a lot of us that ordered in June or July that haven't been scheduled yet. I know some November orders have been scheduled though...which is fucking bullshit. Wow dude talk about babbling - Ford gets an order on 7/24/2021 it is assigned order number 2100 the Ford gets another order on 7/24/2021 an hour later and it is assigned order number 2101. Ford then proceeds to build order #2100 BEFORE Order #2101. Pretty simple really. When one has an order system based on CUSTOMER orders it really doesnt matter the size of a dealership it should be FIFO as much as possible. Why should someone ordering the same truck from Long McArthur Ford get their truck months sooner than someone who orders from their local dealer ? The answer is THEY SHOULDNT.I'm really not sure what you are babbling about but people here have been scheduled for production with order dates well after mine. Thanks! I'm trying to keep track of data on these.Hybrid! Forgot to include that major detail
Order numbers are dealer assigned and are for their use only. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. My order numbers has letters in it.Wow dude talk about babbling - Ford gets an order on 7/24/2021 it is assigned order number 2100 the Ford gets another order on 7/24/2021 an hour later and it is assigned order number 2101.
