I'm also a priority 2.

I knew when I decided I will be passing on the Bronco I am in for the long haul. I believe I will ultimately update my signature in 10 months to say MY23.

Stopped by my dealer to discuss changing color. As soon as I saw him, he said, “got your build date, huh.” Asked if he knew something I didn’t. He said they previewed my build on Tuesday, but he hasn’t checked scheduling this morning. He checked… and… drum roll…. No build date… woh woh woh.

So, it was listed as “previewed” in their system, which is progress, I suppose. However, Ford look at it, but was like, nah, he hasn’t waited long enough yet. 😂😂😂

it’s coming some day soon, I just know it!!! My dealer has five builds allocated for first of February. I’m just hoping one of those will be my Mav first edition!!! I’m a priority 2. Hopefully I’ll get that build date in the next round of emails!🤞🤞🤞

Oh a good note, I was pleased that he printed the cost sheet for me. Basically it has the price I’ll pay with everything except tax. They’re definitely honoring MSRP! No crazy add-on fees or anything. Bunch good folks at my dealer!
If it's any consolation (and it may not be!), my order WASN'T on the preview list the week I received my scheduling email, but Ford ended up pulling it that particular Thursday (it's scheduled for the week of 1/31), so keep up the positive thoughts!

I like you positivity!! Actually, Priority 2 and I have been dancing around since July 5th so we're best buds now! 😁 I will admit that I'm getting a tired of waiting and this allocation system is really getting me mad, especially when I read about others getting build dates when they ordered weeks/months after I did. Yeah the allocation system is seems to benefit those bigger dealerships, which doesn't quite make sense to me in that, isn't a sale no matter where is happens good for Ford? Why "punish" a smaller dealership just because they don't have a large market like a big city dealership. It like the idea I've floated out there that Ford should look at every June/July order still pending and give them all Priority regardless of dealership allocations and get those orders scheduled. Because they will are 98% guarantee sales regardless of where they are going. I guess it would make too much sense.
The fact that you and others STILL don't have a build date is both mind-numbing and infuriating at the same time. All the BS aside in regards to constraints and whatnot, they absolutely have access to who ordered and when. Even if it doesn't lead to a push in build priority, there is no reason they can't be proactive and AT LEAST reach out to the order holders who placed at the beginning and say "Hey, we're sorry. Working on it".
Even though I have my build date, the communication has no.1 been the absolute worst thing about this experience. If they're hoping to attract new buyers and build brand loyalty this has been without a doubt the worst way to achieve that. REAAAAALLLLY hope that the official Ford account looks at your and other's situations and takes note.

Yeah, the way Ford has done their scheduling really has a lot of room for improvement! I really hope they take a minute to review their process and do better for the next MY. We, the current customers, are the going to be the biggest advocates or biggest group biased against this way to order a vehicle. Without the internet we wouldn't know that others have ordered after us and yet received their vehicle before those who ordered early. This really goes against what we as consumers have come to expect. It's like waiting on a seat in a restaurant for an with your young kids complaining their hungry and you're doing your best to keep them entertained while you wait; then this couple drives ups gets out of their car, walks in, and gets seated right away. So yeah it gets really frustrating. Thankfully, I'm not desperately needing this truck so I can (and have to) wait until Ford finally smiles my way and gives me a build date.

I snagged a First Edition order from a guy who cancelled his August 13th order. Honestly it was just right time right place sort of thing (plus a lot of pushing the dealership to let me take over his order rather than having them receive and sell it on the lot).

Nice play. Would never have imagined that could happen. Congrats!

I just wish I could get some communication from someone. Mine had a scheduled build date of 12/7/2021 and estimated delivery date of 1/12/2022. I ordered back in July, got immediate confirmation. Checked tracker this morning and still says in production. No emails from Ford since getting scheduled build date email. I've just resigned to I'll get it when I get it because no one is going to give me an updated status. It's a very frustrating and disappointing situation. Good luck to everyone waiting.
Mine was confirmed in July and I don't even have a build date. In production, even though it is late, is better than no build date. I still did not get one today. Oh well, I will just keep waiting.

I’m in the same boat as you. I ordered and received confirmation on July 19th. Lariat hybrid lux package. Sat at priority 19 for a while , then at the end of November I’m suddenly priority 2. Sounded great, but I still haven’t been scheduled for a build date. I’m starting to get to the point that I’m looking elsewhere. Annoyed and disappointed.
