I guess the fact that the wait begins for 6 to 9 months for me to have it built. I would imagine yours isnt going to be any different. I dont mind waiting. It allows me to save up a bit more for my down payment. If your intent is to be a flipper, then more power to you. I need a replacement vehicle after 14 years driving the current one.

Everything I am fortunate to be able to do with my hands and mind, or to have in my life is a gift from God including my step daughters and my only son. I feel like God put me in the right place at the right time knowing after 14 years a replacement vehicle is needed.

We're buying three new Mavericks, but keeping two. This is our plan:
1. Take delivery of the 2022 XLT hybrid (that we ordered last July 15) by May or June, hopefully.
2. Take delivery of the 2022 XLT ecoboost (that we ordered now through Granger) by September at the latest.
3. Take delivery of the 2023 XLT hybrid (that we'll order in mid-August) by around February 2023 I'm guessing.

So we'll drive the 2022 ecoboost from approximately September 2022 to February 2023, and then we'll sell it to get all of our money back, hopefully.

I wish you all the best on that. Projected 6 to 9 months looking at june thru august.

In 6 months these things are not going to get the resell value they have now. So if you are planning to flip then I would reconsider. You will be lucky to break even not including travel time and cost. Yeh be warnd.

If I order a 2.0 EB in about 1 week, can you give me, at least, a rough estimate when it will arrive? I have 1 tentatively scheduled to arrive 1/1/22 at a different Ford store. If they try to add $$$ above MSRP, I would like to have a Plan B. I have another vehicle to drive.

When did you place your order? I placed mine 12/13 and already have a VIN#. My dealer said there is no mark up, not that I don't trust them, its just I don't trust any car salesman. With me already having a VIN#, I hate to get back in line if I cancel my order. But 3K off is a great deal.

I got a reply from Granger Ford earlier today. I sent them the email yesterday. That was quick. I am starting the paperwork back n forth now. I was told via email only a $100 non refundable deposit was needed.

So..... which is it Granger? $100 or $1000?!

Their discount is for the ecoboost only you still can't order a hybrid until August of next year and looking at a delivery time of sometime around this time next year. If I didn't already have a hybrid being built for me in February I would jump on the Eco boost in a heartbeat for $3000 off

$100 Non-Refundable Deposit Required
Only 2.0L Orders are being taken currently by Ford
As always $180 Doc Fee, $45 In-transit fee.
No drop-shipping, no other hidden fees.

Why? This is going to be a dual benefit. First, it will help our allocation for our early reservation holders. Second, it will be a great offering for anyone looking to purchase a Maverick and is willing to wait.

This deal will absolutely end February 1st and will not be extended. We are doing this to help boost our allocation now and in the future.


What if I have an existing order? - We will be honoring the 3% under invoice for orders taken before December 27th. If you'd like to take advantage of the lower pricing you can cancel your existing reservation and transfer your deposit to a new order. Hello Zach, would the wait be signifgantly shorter for the Maverick then the 3 years I will probably be waiting for my Bronco? I am looking at all options as Fords allocations are frustrating...
