I was interested in this deal @ $100 deposit not really @ $1000k without a better guess on a build date than maybe in 6- months- This is after the almost $1k price increase with the higher trims so it my instance 3k becomes only 2k off- Not sure its worth it for rig that would need to be picked up 3 states away, not so patiently waiting for my local order to somehow actually get like scheduled or something- lol- Have a DORA for dealer list price which is about $1k under MSRP currently.

Many people who are 100% intent on buying a Maverick Ecoboost for delivery this summer will not flinch at the $1000 non-refundable in return for $3000 off sticker.
That seems not to be true. Chapman in Horsham, PA offered an identical deal at 3% under invoice with no deposit. They received over 400 orders and 89 allocations for November/December. Granger offered 3% under invoice, $1000 nonrefundable deposit, has 77 orders unscheduled and received 11 allocations.

Seems to me like quite a few people are not just willing to flinch but to walk.

You don't have to pay a premium. Order from another dealership at 3% under invoice (you still can at Chapman) and you'll be relatively close to the same deal as $3000 off MSRP. You won't need to put down a deposit and you'll almost certainly be scheduled months sooner than Granger is projecting.

wow, wish Canadian may take advantage of this great deal! It is hard to find one in Canada to sell for MSRP. Always various markup like doc fee, market fee, prep fee, here and there. You guys down the south are so lucky!

A little back story on this is they, Granger, offered the same on Bronco back last November or so and bunches of folks moved their reservations. To fulfill those existing orders in a timely manner (2022MY) Granger has to boost their allocation across multiple models. Has something to do with Ford's allocation formula. Makes for a good opportunity for those of us thinking on a Maverick. I would bite on this for a 23 Hybrid...

How exactly do you come to the conclusion that 3% under invoice is an "identical deal" to MSRP - $3000???

Use a $19995 base XL to keep things simple and show your work please.

That seems not to be true. Chapman in Horsham, PA offered an identical deal at 3% under invoice with no deposit.

i had a $100 deposit with them for Bronco...cancelled that and was refunded. Put a 1K deposit down for a hybrid Lariat (also with them). IF they now changed their deposit to only $100 that would not sit well with myself and im guessing with anyone else who gave them 1K! Correct me if i'm wrong?!

I was responding to your assertion that no one will flinch at the nonrefundable deposit if they're intent on buying a Maverick EB. The "identical deal" was about Granger's 3% under invoice compared to Chapman's 3% under invoice.

If no one would flinch over a $1000 nonrefundable deposit, I'd assume Granger would have had similar success to Chapman. They didn't. Prior to this $3000 thing.

No, 3% under invoice is not the same as $3000 off MSRP especially at the XL level. My Lariat Luxury at 4% under invoice is $2,050 under MSRP.

My wife and I recently retired and we both drive older high mileage Honda's. We've decided to get new vehicles, so we ordered a 2022 Maverick hybrid XLT (Lux package) from a dealer back on July 15 and we're hoping to receive a build date in the next few weeks, but who knows. We also just decided to order a 2023 XLT hybrid when the ordering opens in August.

In the meantime, we've decided to jump on this deal and order XLT ecoboost from Granger. We'll drive it around for the 6-12 months it will take to have our 2023 hybrid delivered and then we hope to sell the 2022 ecoboost and get back the money we paid.

The Details:

$3,000 OFF MSRP on any new Retail Maverick order placed from December 27th through January 31st.
$100 Non-Refundable Deposit Required
Only 2.0L Orders are being taken currently by Ford
As always $180 Doc Fee, $45 In-transit fee.
No drop-shipping, no other hidden fees.

Why? This is going to be a dual benefit. First, it will help our allocation for our early reservation holders. Second, it will be a great offering for anyone looking to purchase a Maverick and is willing to wait.

This deal will absolutely end February 1st and will not be extended. We are doing this to help boost our allocation now and in the future.

What if I have an existing order? - We will be honoring the 3% under invoice for orders taken before December 27th. If you'd like to take advantage of the lower pricing you can cancel your existing reservation and transfer your deposit to a new order. You will however have your order timing reset and go back to the end of the line of potential allocation.

How do I place an order? - email [email protected] with the URL or a PDF from Ford's built and price tool.

Hopefully this softens the blow of the price increase to anyone on the fence for a new Maverick order.

Zach
Sent you an email, my name is Austin Jett. I am so down for this!

Are you planning to take delivery of the 2022 hybrid? Or just wait for 2023? This deal should work if you plan to wait for a 2023, but Granger is projecting 6-9 months for delivery on one of these Ecoboosts per their email response to my inquiry.

We're buying three new Mavericks, but keeping two. This is our plan:
1. Take delivery of the 2022 XLT hybrid (that we ordered last July 15) by May or June, hopefully.
2. Take delivery of the 2022 XLT ecoboost (that we ordered now through Granger) by September at the latest.
3. Take delivery of the 2023 XLT hybrid (that we'll order in mid-August) by around February 2023 I'm guessing.

So we'll drive the 2022 ecoboost from approximately September 2022 to February 2023, and then we'll sell it to get all of our money back, hopefully.

I got a reply from Granger Ford earlier today. I sent them the email yesterday. That was quick. I am starting the paperwork back n forth now. I was told via email only a $100 non refundable deposit was needed.
