When I purchased from them in October, I financed about 75 percent of the vehicle, paid the difference and then paid tax and registration in Minnesota at the DMV myself. If you can do that I would highly recommend it, meant I had plates that week.

Last year I bought my wife's Fiat in Seattle, they did the taxes and registration and that took well over a month to complete.

I delay as long as possible putting the plates on because then it's no longer a new car is that strange?

well, there are jobs that I'm okay with but I def not love doing those jobs (for example, to report "engineering progress" to sales/management guys, I'm okay but I don't love it.

IF you want to finance taxes in, Granger should be able to do this by over-financing by the tax amount and then cutting you a check for that amount. Then you can cash the check and pay your state DMV. Not saying that's the best option, just one of them.

I agree. Probably better to do the financing without the tag, registration, sales tax, and plate fees, then just go to my local DMV and write em one big check for all of it, and walk out with my registration sticker, and licence plates. This way that's not bankrolled into the financing for x number of years.

Others are saying maybe $800 to $900; even better. GRANGER: Can I order an EB Lariat with hot pepper red, AWD, 4k, spare tire, 360, 120v inverter, SIBL,splash guards and carpeted floor mats and have it shipped to me [I live in Brandon; near Tampa, Fl]? At somewhere around $1000 for shipping that would still be around $2k under MSRP [all local dealers charge around $1000 or more above MSRP].

(Bit confused because from what I read from NYS dmv, "Bill of Sale" from the dealer is required for registration) But that's YMMV per state.

Do you mind if I ask what the sequence? Registration-> Get (Perm) Plate -> Fly to granger OR Fly to granger -> Registraion (with temp plate) -> drive backhome -> registraion. Thanks

The OP gave instructions on how to place the order. You'll need to build one on the Ford site and have it sent to the dealer, or create a PDF of the order and email it to [email protected]. You will have to arrange the shipping yourself by contacting shippers and setting it up.

Good idea, I will look into that as well, of course financing is all subject to change, and may be different at the time you go and pick it up. Keep your options open.

not everyone can qualify for 0% interest. You have to have a decent credit score like an upper 700 and a good debt to income ratio.

just read a post about order bank opens for august 2022 and production starts on Oct 2022. Does this mean if I place an order it won’t get accepted or confirmed by Ford until august 2022?
