I'm also in no real rush for the Maverick I ordered yet, but I did wind up changing my color from Cactus Gray to Area 51 a few weeks ago and the dealer provided me with an updated order form. These trucks seem to be quite solid for the most part so far, at least mechanically speaking.
FWIW folks, that was BY FAR AND AWAY the best car buying experience I've ever had; only about an hour and a half or so at the dealership to finalize things and get the financing done. I did get asked about the occasional frill (window tint, service plans, etc.) but they only asked once and all it took was a "no thank you" from me and they motored right along.Welp, my Mav finally showed up at Sanderson Ford Tuesday night. Will be going in Saturday to (hopefully) pick it up and will let you all know how they are to work with.
So far, it's been great and I hope to use them as my "go to" dealer going forward. I've tried this before with Autonation Scottsdale Ford, Camelback Ford and Rodeo Ford but will never buy from them again.
So, if I get stuck with Sanderson all day saturday, arguing about things that were already agreed upon? I'll be very forthcoming with my thoughts.

The only option it had was a sunroof and the MSRP was just under $23k. This is the first hybrid Maverick I've seen locally, which is great news for us that have ordered the hybrid. Also, if anyone is interested in buying this one, I think it's a dealer stock unit since the window sticker didn't indicate otherwise and it may have had the dealer installed desert pkg already.
I really hope this isn't a dealer's hybrid, because that means somewhere someone didn't get their hybrid built because this one was built instead! I've noticed some units show special order on the window sticker while others don't. Not sure if it's a matter of the sticker not being updated properly, but it sure does look like stock dealer hybrid vehicles coming in. This would really be upsetting to us still waiting if it is the case.
Tint driver/passenger windows is the big item. Not certain on rest
I'm not 100% sure myself, but I will say that this truck is certainly not listed on the dealership website yet. Then again, it may have been dropped off on Christmas Eve and the dealer may not have updated their inventory/systems yet.
The "Desert Package", is a dealership installed package they put on their new inventory. It normally entails a security system, window tint, and paint protection from what I tend to see around the Phoenix area. One benefit of ordering from the factory is that they will not install any of that stuff unless you want them to. I know a few places where I can get the work done on my own and I prefer to support local businesses.

Outta curiosity when in July did order? I ordered on July 5th and have been priority 2 purgatory for over a month now!
Dealer added Window Tint, Door Edge Guards, Nitrogen Filled Tires. $2K for stuff you can get later for $300.
Sounds like Peoria never placed YOUR email into the system so you would get the updates. I would ask them to do that.
