When in June did you order? According to what I've been told by my salesman HT doesn't markup customers orders and any additional add-ons are optional.
I placed it 6/30, heard absolutely nothing from Ford status-wise until 12/7 when I emailed HT. Great to hear about the no mark up.
I ordered on July 5th and still waiting on a build date! I've been in touch with my salesman since the beginning and it's been a long time waiting. Glad to hear that Maverick is getting built.
I think the biggest issue is HT not getting as much allocation as other dealers, but either way a 7/5 order should be getting scheduled any day now. Hopefully orders start getting scheduled in big numbers now that the holidays are over.
I agree, the allocation system is really a poor way to get customers their vehicles. Had I been aware of the allocation system I would've shopped around more to find out which dealerships had a better allocation rate. Once I heard about allocations, I figured that I was OK since HT is part of Jim Click and I thought he was a big dealership. However, perhaps he's only big in a small pond. Anyway, I'm hoping that once scheduling resumes I will get a date.
Jim Click definitely biggest in town for Ford, especially seeing as they have the big Jim Click dealership AND Holmes-Tuttle, but yeah I'm sure some Phoenix ones might've gotten more. Like you said I figured they'd be the same because HT is part of JC, haven't heard anything about JC orders though.
I haven't seen much by way of Mavericks for JC. I've been keeping a bit of an eye on what they are getting and hasn't been much!
Mine was ordered on 7-7, supposed to be built week of 2-7. We shall see.
Huh I checked my build sheet and I apparently ordered June 22nd. But I did receive a nice surprise and my truck is going to be arriving in a day or two... Joe Powell told me someone else was interested in my same Alto Blue Maverick lol so I wonder if it was one of you guys

At this I'm willing to try anything to get scheduled! I wouldn't be so annoyed about waiting, but I'm so tired of seeing others getting build date when they've ordered weeks or months after I placed my July 5th order. Oh Ford why does thee forsake my order?!Well, this upcoming week is supposedly when my build was to be scheduled.
I'm holding some voodoo ceremonies to help make this happen
- I have ordered and received my blind spot mirrors for the side mirrors (always use these)
- I have my Browning GMRS antenna
- I have my Diamond NMO antenna mount and coax
- I'm doing evening chants while facing the general direction of my dealership, Peoria Ford
