I envy you sir! Though I know people have had worse experiences, I'm thoroughly disappointed with mine. I told dealer right from the get go (back in July) that I didn't expect to see my truck arrive until at least the spring. "Oh it'll probably be in around December" was the reply. Knowing better, I said "no. It won't". Then I also informed him about the trims, features, and available options. Should have been a clue that I wasn't just a random schmuck and actually did some research. Yet here I am, simply asking for my order information so I can track it myself, and getting the run around. To say I'm irritated would be an extreme understatement.

Sorry to hear that your salesman isn't keeping you informed. I was glad to hear from my salesman today because he knew I've been wanting to see the interior of an XLT. I've already seen the XL and the Lariat. So I got to see a couple of customers XLT hybrids today. Can't wait to get my build date...someday!

Who did you order from in Arizona? Who have you talked to so far? Anyone to stay away from?

I stopped in to Larry H Miller Ford (Formerly Berge) yesterday to poke around at the Bronco and Bronco Sport they just put on the lot. I spoke with Omar and Lucas and they were both very friendly and helped answer a few questions.
1) Yes, they are taking orders on Mavericks. They've had a couple hundred so far.
2) Yes, they are honoring X Plan Pricing.
3) They are asking for a $500 REFUNDABLE deposit.

We ordered from Chapman Ford in Scottsdale. $1000 refundable deposit. great to work with , got order in right away, answer all our questions. we got a build date on our hybrid week of 1-10-22. Yippee. Bingo

Welp, my Mav finally showed up at Sanderson Ford Tuesday night. Will be going in Saturday to (hopefully) pick it up and will let you all know how they are to work with.

So far, it's been great and I hope to use them as my "go to" dealer going forward. I've tried this before with Autonation Scottsdale Ford, Camelback Ford and Rodeo Ford but will never buy from them again.

So, if I get stuck with Sanderson all day saturday, arguing about things that were already agreed upon? I'll be very forthcoming with my thoughts.

I decided to reach out to the sales manager at Chapmanand he got back to me really quickly as well as provided my order number. Really appreciated that and it restored my faith. And less than a day later I get a production date!
So I will admit, it was wrong of me to be frustrated with the dealership... There do seem to be a at least few folks there who are quite helpful.

Got my email today. Ordered 7-7-21. Built week Feb 7, 2022.

Looks like my August 7th order will certainly end up being a 2023 at this point, and I'll speculate being behind the wheel about June 1st.
That ok by me, I can live with whatever comes down.
I was looking at used small pickups the other day on Carmax and Caravan.
Doing so makes me realize just how good of a deal this Mav Hybrid is going to be in the long haul, especially with current fuel prices.
Used vehicle market is insane.

You will get a 2022 model, but it will be at the end of the run. So in hind sight that is a good thing since I'm sure there will be updates a long the way.

That is what the Ford line told me 6 weeks ago, I got the email this week and my Built Week is Feb 7th.
