Yep! Bought it new, now at 41k miles. No regrets. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger truck but there are too many downsides of a bigger truck to me.
I went to a 3 day event in downtown Chicago and found this little parking garage that must have been a hundred years old. My Mav fit okay in the spots and these funky curved ramps to the different floors but I was glad it wasn't any bigger. Sign said no trucks on Lake Shore Drive but they couldn't have been thinking about my little Mav.

Very happy with my 5 month old Lobo. Exceeded expectations!

While I negotiated a great deal back then - Ford has been blowing out the MY25 Lobos for $3k - $5k below the MSRP that I negotiated with.

When I was originally shopping around dealer stocks I found an exact twin to what-would-become my Mav out on Long Island. A few months into owning mine, I searched up the other one to see if it was still available (It wasn't). I was thinking one to keep stock-ish and one to mod. Probably a good thing it found another home. 💸

I also contemplated getting an EB 4x4 for winter/bad weather but that didn't happen either. Maybe after the next facelift. 😬

If I could go back in time and do it over again, I'd still get it. However, if my Maverick gets totaled tomorrow, I'll probably get a F150 Lightning. It's bigger than I want, but I prefer driving a full electric. There weren't any affordable used EV pickups when I got my Maverick, but now there are.
I'd like a Lightning too because I want the experience of owning an EV. And the lightning is an excellent vehicle in my opinion. Yes. It's huge. But operating costs are low. If they'd offer the Maverick as an EV or even a plug in hybrid, I'd be ecstatic.

I have commented I this topic before, I drove a 22 XLT ECO LUX for 3 years loved it, local gas mpg wasn't the best 17/18mpg 30/35 highway, I do 80% local driving now retired, I liked the truck I wanted a Lobo, I didn't want to wait 4/5/6 months waited 8 months for my 22, my dealer got in a black loaded lariat, Hybrid, sunroof, black package, 4k tow, I have driven black cars/trucks for 30 years my 22 was grey because I didn't think the black was a good match with the interior colors, mistake on my part should of got the black, so when I saw that black Lariat with all the goodies in it I forgot about the lobo, at the time it was employee pricing and bought it with all discounts sticker was 42,500 got it for 39k.
Maybe in 3/4 years I'll get my lobo, wish Ford would have a heated seat package for the basic lobo, don't need all the other stuff, the Lariat has it all my truck is a looker with a ceramic coat it hurts the eyes. Am a old hot rod guy can't afford that anymore so my mav is my hot rod with 191hp.

Probably not, in hindsight. If someone came up to me tomorrow with an offer that meant I wasn’t taking a bath, I’d probably take it. But it’s paid for, and I can’t justify taking a huge hit by trading it and either having a car payment again or taking money out of savings to cover the depreciation.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to buy a Lariat Lux FX4 4K in HPR anymore, so I'll be keeping this one a long time. 🤠

I'll betcha that the City of Chicago stuck you with a $150 fee for parking those 3 days. Parking in downtown Chicago is another way of getting robbed.

The 1st place I went to was robbery, $50 for 7 hours. But the little place i found on Mapquest was $16.

I got my first Maverick in October of 2023. It was a dealer demo XL. I had a 2023 XLT on order, but had no idea if I’d ever get it.

My 2023 HPR XLT finally arrived and I was excited. Almost two years and 6,000 miles later, I am disappointed in my little truck. Deep sleep, backup cam, interior scratches that make it look older than my 2018 model S and the list goes on.

If it wasn’t covered by a $0 deductible warranty until 2033, I’d probably be getting rid of it. I might get rid of it anyway. I can’t imagine ever recommending buying one to a friend.

Bottom line. I would not buy another Maverick.
Mixed response.

I have 2 2025 Maverick Hybrids. The XLT arrived May 14, now has 83000km on it. Yes, it gets driven. Not hard, just far, everyday. 4 visits to 3 dealers and no one can fix the driver side window squeal, the inaccurate speedometer, and now I’m getting the dreaded uncommanded regenerative braking cut out and low speed clunk. Can’t wait to get rid of it.

The wife has the Lariat. She loves it. Arrived September 20, less than 5000km on the odometer. Absolutely no issues whatsoever with this one. I wouldn’t recommend a hybrid to anyone. Ford can’t service these units. Will trade the XLT for a Toyota in May.

From what I’ve seen the resale value of the lightening is terrible. Depreciation is way way too high.
