I did not like that. It was too small for my dash gap. I am sending it back.

I have a dashboard mat. I think the weather strip would actually be underneath the dash mat.. I'll know soon enough I've got one in my shopping cart.
My dash mat has NO Velcro, NO sticky tape on it and it has no problem staying in place even with the windows open.

Hello Glen, do you have a link for the dash mat? What color is it? I've been thinking about getting one for this hot southern Alabama weather.

Thanks for the tip on this dashboard seal strip. The dash on my 2023 Hybrid is fine on asphalt roads and streets, but rattles over every seam of the concrete streets in my neighborhood. And, although it’s never gone dead, my battery has gone to sleep almost from the beginning.

Just short of 36,000 miles, I took my truck to the dealer for one more battery check and to see what they could do about the dash rattle, not knowing there was an official “fix” for the dash. They did fix the rattle with a foam insert, and they replaced the battery (with non AGM).

Three months later, the battery was back to falling asleep (annoying as hell when the passenger door won’t unlock by touch and there’s no dome light before starting), AND the dash was back to rattling.

I added this strip to my dash, and, fingers crossed, the rattle is still gone, two weeks later.
