DIY HOW TO: Install adaptive cruise control in Maverick Hybrid XLT with Luxury package

Ok, so I reversed the wires and nothing changed. Put them back, then did a continuity test on everything and each wire is correctly ran. I still get the same behavior…. Everything is wired correctly, I am getting power to the radar but nothing is showing up in FORScan….

You're telling it to not load the existing vehicle profile, correct?

I have been dabbling in the Sunny Pilot discord, there is a fork called BluePilot which a lot of folks use as it’s been catered for Ford. Interested to know if anyone on here has tried that or if there is a better version to use. But yea, comma3x is a game changer for me!

Got the Comma 3X mount on Maverick's windshield yesterday so waiting on the VHB to cure.
I use BluePilot on my Escape and love it for road trips.

How much of an improvement is stock lane centering over the Comma software? I use a small weight on the wheel so don't have to touch the steering wheel (on the highway) so just wondering how much better it is at driving (highway only).

Phenomenal mod, well done to all involved.

Looking forward to hearing about anyone doing it on a 2025 Hybrid XLT pref with the 4K towing. (Some co pilot differences I think)

Don't quite like the Lariat wheels, interior, nor need more than 2 speakers to listen to some FM radio once in a while. On top of that, all the dealers around here are ordering them with extra stuff like sunroofs etc that tag another 4000 on the Lariat premium. So not thrilled about potentially paying 5-8000 just to get ACC when it comes on or can be added to base models practically everywhere else, including in other low priced Ford ranges. I mean I'm looking and looking for a Hy Lar 4k with nothing else added in an acceptable color, but we're over the hill in the model year and who knows if they'll build enough of the right ones, if I HAVE to cruise round in a fake dude ranch with a swedish hi-fi I at least wanna do it at the lowest spend and in the color I wanted.

ETA: ... So I am realising that there's several things about the Lariat that are going to bug me on a daily to weekly basis, and the ACC lack would bug me more like monthly for the trips out of town. So realising that if I miss it too bad I can add it, makes a heck of a lot more sense to consider XLT.

Okay, so I have finished the model for the CCM mount to attach to my 2024 Tremor grill. This should also fit all Maverick XLT grills.

There is no need to cut your grill to do this. However, you will have to drill four holes in the rear vertical support behind the grill. This mount works by sandwiching between the grill and the rear support using four M5 bolts.

I will follow up with more photos and information when I conduct the installation next weekend.

Thanks for sharing these files! I'm ordering up my parts now, does this print also replace the need to buy a bracket [NZ6Z-14C022-A] and CCM cover [NZ6Z-17E810-AA] or does it simply make it so I don't need to cut my grill/ air deflector (or buy lariat ones)?

I'm new to the forum as of today... I just purchased a 2024 XLT Hybrid (without) the Lux. or 360 pkg. Can I add adaptive cruise since my Hybrid doesn't have the Lux or 360? This may have been covered, but the post has 61 pages, and I haven't found the answer yet. Thanks in advance!
