Master Chief - Did you follow instructions to finish the Switchin Neutral Tow Off and then wait 15 minutes before starting? Still havent found out what that is all about

All parts from RoadMaster arrived and look great my installation is scheduled for the weekend after Easter I’m looking forward to it first trip with 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid scheduled for the second week of May.

Have you gotten a chance to tow it with your rv yet? Did you figure out what the instruction for switching Neutral Tow Off - "Before starting engine, wait 15 Minutes" was all about?

No I haven’t towed my 2025 yet but have experience with other types of vehicles- I like you was trying to get someone here to publish the directions on how they tow and the protocol after they get where they are going

I sent a question to MasterChief. He said he had towed his 2500 miles and it was great. I asked about the 15 minute wait to start the engine after turning Neutral Tow Off and if he did that. Havent gotten an answer yet. My 2025 Lariat if ready to go as soon as I get some confirmation on the proper procedures. Exact same Roadmaster package you have.

My baseplate installation is scheduled for 5/27 and I have a trip planned for mid June and I am going to do a few short test runs once it’s ready to tow and end those short trip at my home so I’ll know for sure and will share if we don’t get any feed back by then

Over 3500 miles towing now. I have let it sit for 15 minutes most of the time. At some camp sites were I had to back in I had to move the maverick out of the road after disconnecting.

The weird thing is that after towing for 6 hours you are supposed to stop, shift into D then back to N to continue towing. Nothing about waiting 15 minutes.

I finally got the Roadmaster kit on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid and took is for a short run with the RV. Everything worked great and the Mav towed perfect. Now I'm planning my first long trip with a toad.

Looks great my installation is scheduled for next Tuesday any thing I need to look out for when getting ready to tow or when you’re ready to unhook - thanks for sharing

The only problems I ran into was the break away switch cable was too short and had to add to that. Also when detaching the Maverick it was on a shallow slope so wouldn't release until I started the Mav and drove forward about 1/2 inch then locked the brake so it wouldnt roll back again.

Did you have to trim your shutters with any of the new baseplates and if you did what does that do to your warranty?

Started the installation of the RoadMaster Baseplate today on my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid. All is going well wiring up the lighting and charge wire now then I’ll start putting everthing back together I’m happy with the fit so far.

Completed the RoadMaster flat towing installation on my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid today - I couldn’t be happier with the installation of the RoadMaster Baseplate ease of installation definitely exceeded my expectations everything fit perfect with little to no destructive measures required, the lighting and charge wire was simple and works as designed…

Did you have to trim your shutters with any of the new baseplates and if you did what does that do to your warranty?

No major modifications required I just post a photo of the finish product it looks great I am so happy
