I'm hopeful you are correct that the Demco will be less damaging, but I want to see an installation in detail first. The website is still asking for a volunteer guinee pig. Looking to tow my '25 Lariat in early June.

We were the guinea pig. Spent 4 days from March 31 at Demco while they made the template, fabricated the tow base, tested it and installed. They just have not updated the website yet. They only removed one plastic shutter frame and the plastic louvers. We have posted several pictures in this forum.

I figured that those louvers would be in the way. My guess is the radiator behind those lower louvers is the supplemental cooling for the transmission, part of the 4K towing package.

We don’t have 4k towing. The louvers were a tight fit so were removed as a precaution.

I'm still wondering about the 4K Pkg and if it will require more cannibalizing of the shutter or fascia.

You were also having issues with the Rear Lights not working correct after Demco installed the system, Has this been resolved ? what was the Fix ?

the issue was in the RV 7pin Everything from DEMCO worked fine as we ran through all the troubleshooting. All fixed now.

I have a 2023 motorhome and have a 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid with AWD and 4K towing that's built and shipping. I'm looking for a dealer/installer in Oklahoma (or surrounding states) that comes recommended for the Demco tow system. As handy as I may be with power tools, I'm not up for disassembling a brand-new vehicle for the base plate! Does anyone have any experience and can make a recommendation? I'm looking for a complete install - tow bar, base plate, and braking system to flat tow the Maverick. Thanks!

Since the Demco tow bar for my 2023 Maverick won’t fit my new 2025 Lariat, I will sell it on this sites for sale page, in case anyone is interested.

I’ve ordered a new Awd hybrid to replace my 2023 hybrid and I haven’t heard anywhere about its ability to be flat towed? I assume since the Escape hybrid Awd can be towed that this one can be as well. Anyone have any info?

For those waiting for the Demco base plate for the 2025 Maverick - they are now in production with 5 available, I have been told. This is not advertised on their website yet. Part Number: 9519366 Customer service 800.543.3626 or email [email protected].

I installed the RoadMaster Baseplate and paired it with the RoadMaster Nighthawk Towbar on my 2025 Maverick Lariat AWD Hybrid I am extremely happy with the results

If you don't mind a trip to Boyden Iowa, Bruce's Repair Shop can do the whole works. He used to work for Demco and his shop is just minutes away from the Demco plant. He did a good job for us.

Yes, the 2025 Maverick hybrid, including all-wheel drive models, is flat towable with the 4K tow package. This is a feature that was not available in the previous 2024 gas-powered Maverick models. The flat tow feature is activated through the vehicle's settings, and the speed limit when flat towing wheels down is 70 MPH.
