My 25 Mav came with the keypad as a dealer installed option (someone else’s build that changed their mind). It works very well. However, as I understand, the battery is “permanent” - i.e. when it dies you need a new keypad. Since it’s glued to the paint, I am concerned how this will play out...

I had the Blue Ox baseplate installed on our 25 Lariat hybrid today by our local RV dealer. The technician said it was no problem to install and he does a lot of these. . Unfortunately, I didn’t get to tow the car because I had to leave the RV for a service visit, so I’ll have to report back...

New Blue Ox baseplate delivered yesterday from E-trailer for my 2025 Lariat hybrid +4k towing. I have an appointment to have it installed on 4/28. Will send comments and photos when it is complete.

Thanks for the heads up on the Roadmaster. I have the Blue Ox baseplate on order since I have a Blue Ox towbar. Is the Roadmaster less destructive to the front of the Lariat - from what you can see? Thx!

Great point. I got the first 3 years for free in the Lightning and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if I would enjoy it NEARLY as much for $50 per month - or whatever they are charging.

The Lariat is packed with features I use every day. Totally worth it to me. My other car is a Porsche where practically every additional light bulb is an expensive ala carte option. While they are different animals entirely, the Lariat’s many features in any Porsche would be a >$20k package -...

I could be wrong but I don’t think the AWD is compatible with dolly towing. I thought about that as a temporary solution, but I didn’t think it was an option…
