Why the f would you go to all that work on a vehicle still under warranty?? We ALL should complain to Ford and maybe file a class action lawsuit - there had to be at least one Lawyer on this forum that can speak to this.I have a 22 Maverick lariat hybrid. Dealer replaced my BXT99RT4A 390 CCA in it's 34th month due to a bad cell with a BXT99RT4A MAX series 470 CCA under warranty. I drove home and put my noco genius 5 amp maintainer on the new battery, shut hood, locked truck, which took over three days to charge and run the optimization routine. I then reset the BMS and locked truck for the new battery learn procedure. Left noco on for 3-4 more days unlocking and locking once a day to restart noco to top off and rerun optimization. Nine weeks after new battery installed left rear qtr panel got bent and truck was in body shop 5 solid weeks. Got it back battery said 12.2v. no idea how long battery was disconnected. Put battery on noco for 3 full days. Battery was replaced 19 weeks ago. So no long term experience yet. Battery will see the noco for 3-5 days anytime dome light does not come on or every 3rd to 4 month whichever comes first. Prior to my Maverick hybrid I had a gas Honda CRF which would eat a battery in 28-34 months do to the way they delayed charging battery until ice was up to temp. When I started putting my noco on it every 3-4 months the last battery was still going strong at about 64 months. I have never had my Maverick fail to start but have seen no dome light ,2-3 times in 39,000 miles.
