I guess this could apply to any car or truck, really. I love the way my Maverick looks and I want to do a better job keeping it clean and shiny. Especially the wheels since I bought aftermarket rims that look fantastic when clean.
My main problem is I do a LOT of freeway driving at speeds 80+ mph and Iām constantly getting bug splatter all over the front end. This stuff does NOT come off in drive-through washes. Iām considering buying a pre-soak bug spray and applying it to front end before every wash. And a wheel cleaner pre-soak spray as well.
My question is do you have to scrub these bug sprays and wheel sprays with brush after they pre-soak, prior to going through the car wash? Or do they have enough power to dissolve everything and then it just comes off in the car wash?
