⏰ No Maverick Scheduling Next Week (10/10)

Plant will be closed week of 12/26/22.

"SCHEDULING" vs "PRODUCTION" Week explained :
Scheduling is the act of scheduling a future production week.
Production is the act of executing the schedule (building your Maverick that week).
If your vehicle is scheduled to be built/produced during the weeks listed below, you can ignore this list as this is only relating to the scheduling of future production weeks.

To all the new Maverick orderers, welcome to the roller coaster ride of getting scheduled for production! Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

So does that mean no maverick production the week of 11/21?

Looking like everyone will have a tumbler and very likely a Long McArthur hat when they pick up their Maverick ;)

It just means no scheduling dates will be going out this week starting Monday.

The fact that they're bringing up that the plant will be down for the week of Christmas is making it seem like no 2023s will be built before the new year.

Still think they're gonna have all those MY22s finished by 11/14?

Let's face it; Ford is clearly is no hurry to start scheduling MY23 Maverick builds until they have a better handle on when they can complete production of all the MY22s that have had VINs assigned.

Given the number of folks -- particularly those with hybrid builds -- who have been repeatedly pushed back through October and into mid-November, it seems clear Ford will NOT meet its goal to completing MY22 builds by mid-November.

I think we can all agree that Ford is NOT going to come out and make a public proclamation on exactly when it expects to finish MY22 production. Give that, the best we can all say is that MY22 production will continue "for the foreseeable future." And MY23 production will begin "at a future date, to be determined."

In my humble opinion, constraints on parts, packages, and chips is taking a toll on Ford and customers who ordered various Ford products. With a lot of parts being manufactured overseas, the port problems, the transportation problems with truckers, it’s causing chaos for everyone!!

All we can do as consumers is either sit and wait patiently, or be proactive and try to find a Maverick that a customer may have canceled. I’ve seen some posted on various Maverick FB pages and even here.

Doesn't look like Ford is scheduling much of anything this week. And the fact the factories are closed at Christmas come to no surprise.

Looking at this, and I’m completely new to this whole process but it looks like no MY23 Mavs will be built in 2022, correct?

Well, they have not scheduled any for this year yet. That doesn’t mean they won’t. I do think it is getting less likely.
