Official: 2023 to 2024 Maverick Order Conversion + Price Increase Offset Incentive + Order Bank Opens July 17

Just received this from Ford. Looks like they ARE making improvements to the ordering for next model year. Also confirms July 17 as the day order banks open AND a transition offer is in the works (previously unknown/unlikely).

Update on your 2023 Ford Maverick® Order
As promised, we have an update on your 2023 Ford Maverick truck order.

On Ju‍ly 1‍7, the 2024 Maverick order bank will open.

To put you in the best position to get your Ford Maverick as quickly as possible, please read carefully:

On Jul‍y 1‍7, contact your existing dealer that has your 2023 Maverick order to review the 2024 Maverick vehicle offering and submit a 2024 Maverick order. You will still have your 2023 Maverick order within the order bank. If your order is part of the group that is not produced as a 2023 model year, Ford will prioritize your 2024 model year in the build so that you receive your vehicle faster. Additionally, Ford will provide you with an incentive, through your dealer, to offset any non‑equipment related price increases.
If your 2023 Maverick order is scheduled between Jul‍y 1‍7 and Octo‍ber 3‍1, we will work with your dealer to remove the 2024 order from our system. Your 2023 Maverick truck order remains a priority, and we’ll continue to update you as we hear more.
Please do not delay in submitting your 2024 Maverick order as the order banks may close quickly as they have in past model years. Any 23MY order that does not schedule will be cancelled.

We acknowledge how frustrating this process has been for you and are working diligently to get your Maverick to you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Same email here. At this point, I wouldn't mind getting a '24 instead, considering if I do get a 23, it won't be delivered until nearly 2024 anyway. Glad they're trying to do right by us unscheduled masses. Love that they are aware of the ordering faux pas and are recommending both a new 2024 order and keeping the 23 orders for conversion.

Just got the same email. I’ll be interested to see what “incentives through your dealer” will be? I guess it could be anything from reduced pricing of dealer installed options, to free oil changes.

Never received any emails from my order that is outstanding at my local dealer. Probably has my email address in there wrong. Glad I have one unscheduled order so depending what options there are for 2024, I'll decide whether to put one in to replace my current one. Only plan on doing it if there are some interior upgrades (screen size) or if they finally release an AWD hybrid.

Can I assume we would be able to place a 2024 order for whatever trim and options we want? We wouldn’t have to submit an identical order as our 2023 to receive the protections right?

They should have made it so any potential rollover can order a day prior before everyone else, or 2 days prior to avoid the mad rush.

It won't be price protection, but rather, a private offer (similar to 22 to 23 transition offer). That is a nice surprise, Ford pretty much told everyone last year that they weren't planning on doing this!
