I will discuss this tonight but 23 order banks open up 8/2 but they will be scheduling for 22 builds up until 8/18. It is recommended by Ford to have those with a 22 unscheduled order put in a 23 order on 8/2 and if your 22 order schedules, cancel your 23 order. Also, just so you know, you don't want that 22 order deleted out of the WBDO system, after all 22 scheduling is done, Ford will know which orders receive the private offers. If the order is removed before that they won't receive private offers for their 23 orders.
So Tim what you are saying is to just put in a new 23 order on the Aug 2nd but leave the 22 order in place. At least until Ford says they can't actually build it. So in fact you will not be "rolling over" a 22 to a 23. So the with the 23 order you will not know the private offer until after it is ordered. Sounds convoluted for sure.

They are not rolling orders over from 22 to 23. You will need to put a new order in anyway. Ford will know that you have a 22 order because it will still be in the system. That is how you get your private offer and your original order date.

@fordvideoguy I know you've mentioned multiple times that order banks open 8/2, but can you comment on the distinction in this FDNB between the 8/2 & 8/15 (FHEV) Order Bank Open Date entries?

The Maverick build & price tool explicitly refers to the hybrid engine as the FHEV, so does this memo suggest that 8/2 will only be for EB orders and 8/15 will be the actual start of hybrid ordering? Has there been any other official clarification/guidance from Ford on this?

That is for fleet not retail ordering, that is probably the difference. Anyone wanting a eco or hybrid will order it on 8/2.

I waited 8 months for my Maverick. It was worth the wait!
I'm ordering 2 more tomorrow. Upgrading to Focal speakers ($850.00) upgrade on my XL tomorrow. Priorities! These speakers are trash. I expected that. However I want to cruise around with my Unicorn with some decent jams. I got what my friends on this forum describe as the 'Best' audio system for me. I will be flipping out!

Doesn't really matter what you see. They're independently owned franchises. Dealer franchise laws in the USA are tilted heavily in favor of the dealer and not the manufacturer. Basically, they do what they want with few exceptions and there is little the manufacturer can do about it.
But Burger King and McDonald's are mostly franchise owners, but they can't adjust the price of a Whopper or Big Mac.

Bk and McD certainly do adjust the prices. A Mig Mac costs more in say NYC than in Kansas. The difference is they have to post tge prices so you can shop around. Harder to do that a car dealers.
