I hate being on this end of questions, makes me feel dumb... And I promise I did a search first without finding the info I'm looking for.
So here's the rub:
I've got a really good quality USBc cable to connect my phone, and when I plug it in, Android auto pops up almost immediately, loads the...
Ford Makes exactly that, its called Lightning Blue and it is a fantastic color. I had it on my Fusion and it was my favorite Ford Blue hands down. Wish it was available on the maverick.
Ecoboost is for heavy-ish towing, off-roading, or drag racing, as far as I'm concerned (and why bother using a maverick for any of that). For actual real life usability as a small truck, its absolutely all hybrid all the way. Even so, some people have posted some pictures and testimonials of...
Yeah, its all factory '23 XLT Lux equipment. If you look at the headlight area of the grill bar, that's not a highlight of black plastic you're seeing, its actually just the grey color of the xlt bar.
They're stock XLT equipment as well. Personally I'm really not a fan of them, I think they...
Thanks! I've got a set of Motegi MR 107 that I've had since 2011, had them on my old Taurus and then my Fusion. I think they'll look pretty good on the Maverick.
They're 20x8.5 and I'll be getting 245/50/20 for them.
Thanks! Ride was my biggest worry as well, but thankfully the engineers really did the work on these, as they are not any more harsh or bouncy than stock, I might even say smaller bumps are a little better isolated than stock.
It sits about the same now as most of the cars I've owned and I...
Idk what possessed me to do this today, but I'm loving the drop! I've never done suspension work before, and it took me all day, but it was totally worth it. Ride quality feels pretty much the same, tighter for sure but not any harsher than stock. This is exactly the look I was hoping for!
Now...
100% agree. These definitely have a "future according to the 80's" vibe to them. Pretty Rad.
Side note, I bet these are helpful with mileage considering aerodynamics.
love the retro style, very creative touch with the slotted-effect paint job! I'd personally like to see some chrome dog dish hubcaps with these to really complete the vintage look.
I'm going to say opposite of what most are suggesting, and tell you to go land yacht (Obviously I'm biased by my 2nd car). You've got something pretty small and economical in the Mav, so get yourself a big comfy couch. You can find pretty decent roadmasters, towncars or the like, in your price...
No one asked for it, they're doing it to help level the playing field. Oil and Gas subsidies, that no one asked for either, absolutely dwarf EV tax credits. (which is just a refund for an individual's own federal tax liability, you and every other tax payer isn't directly contributing to...
As promised, about as good of a picture as I can get of the whole thing. The two ends of the badge sit on the high points on either side of the oval in the grille design. Posts go through the middle of the oval and through the back plate behind. The nuts cinch it down to pull it tight. Couldn't...
The back plate would be really easy to replicate, I think you'd be fine without it as long as you have some (very) mild fabrication skills. Its just a thin piece of hardened steel with a couple holes in it for the posts to go through.
It is installed with the original mounting hardware and method. Thankfully, my dad actually kept the entire chunk of the grille that the badge was attached to, so I had the full assembly. The badge is very simple; it has two coarse-threaded posts coming off the back side and a metal backer plate...
