New constraint...wheels.A post yesterday seemed to indicate that Ford was out of stock tires for XLT & XL. Not mentioned in this report.
This is a constraint list for engine, trim, packages and options not standard equipment.A post yesterday seemed to indicate that Ford was out of stock tires for XLT & XL. Not mentioned in this report.
You might be on to something there, a "wheel delete" credit" for those who are planning to put aftermarket wheels and tires on as soon as their truck arrives anyway!New constraint...wheels.
No problem. Just order the no-wheel trim level and have the dealer put them on after delivery.
To be fair, this is the key commodities that govern production for the entire model year. As Ford wraps up MY23, we will see items like the wheels listed where Ford has used up their MY23 allotment, but that doesn't mean there is a parts constraint. Simply that the shipment of wheels that was to be used for MY23 is accounted for while the shipment of wheels to be used for MY24 hasn't been scheduled yet.A post yesterday seemed to indicate that Ford was out of stock tires for XLT & XL. So, trim constraints (XL), engine constraints (Hybrid) and now freaking tire constraints.A post yesterday seemed to indicate that Ford was out of stock tires for XLT & XL. Not mentioned in this report.
