  1. Creating "dog mode"

I like the idea of showing the temp. Thanks for adding it! On the surface, all this can seem a little much just to be able to walk in a store for 10 minutes. But it is a very frequent need. This setup lets me take doggo many more places with way less worry.
  2. Mabett | Giveaway: Maverick and Pets, Let’s Hit the Road! 🐾

Wyatt waiting (sort of) patiently for a walk from our campsite. He's the best camping dog.
  3. What does everyone use their 110v outlet for?

I've run an extension cord from it into my home office a few times during power outages. Enough to power my laptop and monitors. I also used it to grind coffee for a neighbor during a power outage (priorities!). At camp I've used it to power a work light to make night time setup easier.
  4. My Thoughts about Maverick Owners

Funny thing is, the Maverick made me a car guy. I just turned 50 today and have owned maybe a dozen vehicles. I was always a "get me A to B" person, so I got reasonably priced new cars (a couple free ones from work) and drove them for 5 to 10 years. Rarely did anything to them beyond a seat...
  5. Automatic car wash -- stock antenna / roof damage?

I'm far from an expert, so I can only speak from personal experience. I put my 22 Mav through the brush-style car wash with the original antenna. No damage to it and nothing noticeable on the paint (I looked closely after reading the horror stories). Same result with my 24 Mav so far. I had...
  6. Camping Trip with Maverick and Excell II Tent Trailer

This is perfection! The campsite looks amazing, as does the Mav and trailer. We just got a small 7x10 trailer and your pics make me want to get it going right now.
  7. My 1st and last Maverick

Truck looks great! My first pup as a kid was named Molly. And now I have a rescue dog that rules my life, too. Hope you have lots of adventures!
  8. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

There's something special about hanging with your pup in the bed of your truck.
  9. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

Thanks! Our pup loves camping but is terrified of anything new. It took about three trips for him to get used to the tent.
  10. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

We bought it used for $5k. Came with the mattress, AC, roof racks, spare tire, and a few odds and ends like a little fridge and camp stove.
  11. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

Thanks and sure! This is when I first went to check it out. The matress folds into couch mode, which is what you see here. It's surprisingly spacious and comfy to sit on (I'm 6'0", for reference) Unfolded, it fills the entire floor and has a small, soft headrest. It also has a lift-gate galley...
  12. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

Based on your comment I just watched a few videos about them. They look great. Definitely on the list for near-term purchases.
  13. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

Sadly, they're on the lower end of what I've seen. Check out Overland if you haven't. I mean, I get they're a much higher-end build, but $40k for a tiny trailer!
  14. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

It's a New Wave, which isn't in business anymore. Closest I've seen are Hiker brand and Runaway brand trailers.
  15. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

It does. We keep it in our garage. It's about 73 inches at the roof mount (highest point).
  16. My first camper trailer tow (with Maverick Hybrid)

That's a good idea. There's a ton of mods I want to do and free-standing power (battery, etc.) is among them.
