hello all! Took my 25 mav ecoboost for its first oil change. Setup appointment online and told them upon this setup I wanted full synthetic and I told the attendant when I arrived that like my setup online I wanted full synthetic. They finished up and I was paying my bill and I asked did they put in full synthetic like I requested. She checked with her manager and said they put in synthetic blend.
I talked this over and mind you this was about quitting time on a Saturday afternoon and this manager does everything in his power to deflect telling me it’s not needed and synthetics are only for supercharged engines etc… Basically he does everything in his power to convince me to leave instead of taking it back in shop and redo to synthetic.
I left and called this morning hopefully to speak to his boss and he answers the phone being a gatekeeper and I explain to him again what I wanted and hashed over things he should have done.
Has anyone ever ran into this issue before and what did you do or what would you do?
