After a nice three hour drive home a few weeks back and stopping at NAPA and Walmart for a filter and oil, I parked the truck and got it up on some jacks and gave it a good drain. And I do mean a good drain, it sat for at least 30 minutes before I spun the plug back in and sprayed it down with brake cleaner.
The factory fill oil was turning dark, and when in the drain pan had a greenish tint to it.
I figured since I am taking it on a family trip soon it was time for that oil to come out. Also my Kia EV is back home after a few months of repair so suspect the truck will get parked for a few weeks at a time between uses, so new clean oil is preferred. I also don't care for the lawn mower filter Ford uses from the factory.
