Will the bed outlet run a small air compressor?

Hello everyone. I searched but didn't see any threads about running a 120v air compressor.
Nothing huge, just something like this:

This. In short, no not even close.

V x A = W

120v x 10A = 1200W

No but they make plenty of compressors that can fill a tire albeit slow at that wattage.

You need to get down to about 1/3hp air compressors to be in the ballpark amperage-wise.

Sorta aside, but why the hell don't they make an adult- sized bicycle pump? Or is it some kind of weird thing like the 24" hoe, where "you can spot the people who're not pumping because they're standing upright"?

What are you using the compressor for? Ryobi makes a couple nice Battery operated compressors that can pump up a car or truck tire pretty quickly.

If it's for tires, I use a Viair 88P. Hooks into the battery directly.

There's a lot of places near me where i go offroad and air down the tires to around 20 psi. varied terrain from rocks, mud, sand, and coal. The small compressors that plug into the 12v outlet overheat when trying to pump that much. I had a couple completely seize up.
