I have not with the maverick. But it doesnt make sense to me becuase you still need to climb under for the filter. It made more sense with my GTI which had the filter on top.(0 mess). I would still drain normal every third oil change.
Three loads of unfiltered fill dirt over the weekend. The last one was sketchy. Just changing lanes at 45mph got the truck feeling mighty squirrely. My mudflaps were almost scraping pavement.
When I was looking to buy a ranger before the maverick was announced. I got the first price print out from the salesman and then I remembered I had xplan through work. They take the original printout added in the xplan discounts but shuffeled other numbers and fees around and it came to maybe...
Damn, I was prettt set on falken at3w or firestone at2(whichever is a better price when decide to replace the crappy pirelli atr). These are making me consider a 3rd option. If I'm honest with myself AT's are probably overkill for my use and these seem great all around and longer tread life...
I think they want to clamp on a vanity tip to the stock exhaust exit(which is a down turn hidden behind the bumper) i think it will be difficult to make it look good.
I have rok blokz on my fx4(lower than your tremor) they offer the best coverage including the "void" behind the rear left tire. Overall I like the rok blokz and the protection they offer. But I would prefer if they were more flexible because they can get caught while off roading and I worry...
By "box liner" I'm assuming you mean drop-in or modular bed liner. My understanding is those don't always have the cut-out and drain holes that match the bed underneath. My Mav has the factor spray in bed liner and there are rubber plugs that are for the drain pipes.
The snow vs rain comment...
The open and close based on ambient temperature and they may take other factors in consideration. It helps the truck warm up faster when its cold out.
Im not sure about being able to reinstall. For they hybrid recall they just cut them off.
Either of those screens can be reset by holding the ok button on the steering wheel. They are different avereages because they were reset at different times.
Personally I reset trip 1 everytime I fill up. Trip 2 every oil change. The plain mpg screen I reset whenever I feel like, sometimes if I...
One big issue is seal near the cab. Traditional truck have a gap between the bed and cab, water has an easy place to go. On our Mavs there is no gap and either we seal it up tight an water sits till it evaporates or leaks into the bed(not ideal). Also the 3/8 gap on the plastic bed rails.
When my mom had a recall on her hybrid she thought she had lost the hybrid coaching screen. The recall had just messed with what screens you can scroll through with the steering wheel controls. I just went through the menu options and rechecked the box, all steering wheel controls no forscan...
Oddly enough I had an xlt fx4 4k and a hybrid lariat for a time. Rear height was the same but the hybrid was taller at the front wheels. I think I posted pictures on here last year.
The only thing i can think is the fx4 4k adds more weight to the front.
