Strange question but will the outlet support the use of a sump pump from a house that has flooded? I don't see where the amps or volts are listed on the XLT I ordered. Thanks Bob S.

It's a 400 watt inverter so divide that by 110 volts and you get about 3.6 amps. Kind of worthless for anything other than small electronics. I didn't bother opting for it, I'm going to install my own 2000 watt inverter for running equipment for my side business. In essence, you might be able to find a sump that meets your needs and draws less than 4 amps but there are so many variables at play.

It's 400 watts SO 400watts/120volts=3.33333amps SO a very small sump pump (don't know if you can find one that weak.
