We know the point of compact trucks is to be smaller. This allows them to be easier to maneuver in tight city areas. But it can also limit space for cargo and passengers.

I hear this a lot, but cmon, the Maverick was stretched and is closer to the size of a Ford Explorer, not a compact Escape! The Maverick is only truly compact by truck standards.

Agree on Motorbiscuit. The Ridgeline/hybrid article is pure clickbait, you can tell just by the way it is written, lots of vague information and pure speculation, written in a way to make it look like official information.

Before adding Hybrid the Ridgeline starts at $36k, ouch! I still wouldn't see this as a true competitor.

But they can probably deliver it. Beats waiting for Ford and likely worth the extra cash.

You definitely are paying for the name, Remember the Izzu trooper it was the Honda Passport re-branded and was at least 5K cheaper

The Isuzu Rodeo begat the Gen 1 Passport. The Trooper begat the Acura SLX. After a deer strike I put an SLX grille on my rebuilt Trooper and it sure messes with people’s heads.
