I tend to spend a lot of time under the hood of my cars. In my Mav, lots of the wire looms, tubing and other things are tied down with zip ties. That's a good thing. The bad thing is they didn't use flush cut dikes to cut the tails off at the factory, leaving razor blades everywhere to cut your hands and forearms when reaching inside. A particularly evil one was just above the battery post which sliced my hand when reaching down to remove the red cover so I could clamp on a battery tender. I've cut aff all the ones I've found so far but I imagine there will be more sooner or later after I have another gash in my arm. Ford, you can do better.

They should be using a ty-wrap tensioner and cut off tool from Panduit. When I wired industrial control cabinets if we were caught cutting the tales off with dykes you got 1 warning then dismissal after the second offense.

I would always file down the edges of cut zip ties when I was a bicycle mechanic. As OP notes - they can be very sharp.

Not quite as bad are leaving zip ties un-cut. Sloppy job!​

I feel your pain. I spent a couple of beers and about an hour trimming, retapping, adding and losing a few clips.
Some real bleeders, some just useless and some tape already falling apart at 3200 miles.
I still gotta check under the bed behind the bumper.
Oh well, I didn’t buy a Ferrari.

The damned A/C comes on automatically every time the truck is started.
(Yes, I've tried the workarounds, they don't work on my 2025 XLT Hybrid AWD.)

That was a common thing at my workplace. Many miles of wires, some of it in cable trays and tight areas and done under pressure. Lots of scratches and cuts mostly on forearms. You learn to look for them and cut them flush.

Yes that's all I want to do is open the windows, no A/C.
I turn off the A/C before iI turn off the engine. It comes back on automatically at the next startup.

It is NOT a "feature," it is a bug.
