Actually, I think the new front looks awful. I like the 2022-2024 much better! The new one is all out of balance and looks like it is chopping off part of the headlights. The grill doesn't look very good either. I'll be keeping my 2024.
I am glad I ordered the 2024, that I will be taking ownership of this coming week. Ordered it May 29. It was built July 15 my birthday, and is in transit for delivery this week. I do not like the front end of the 2025 even with the additions, they added to the 2025 I’d rather have the 2024.

I think it is a conspiracy by Ford. They knew I was a contrarian so they purposely made a front end that would set off the old-man-yelling-at-clouds crowd that reflexively hates change. And they knew that would only endear the refreshed truck to me.

I wish message boards existed in the 50s so we could have an archive of people complaining that Chevy ruined the '57 Chevy with those gaudy tailfins.

The bumper cover went from 1 piece to 3 and the headlights were moved out of harm's way. The middle piece with the flippers can now be disposable in a fender bender instead of the expensive headlights. Maybe Geico complained. Looks at it like an engineer instead of using female emotions. Speaking of which, It sure is a bit ugly. Yuck!

Butt ugly front end on the new Mavericks. I think they have just killled a lot of their sales ....I would never buy a truck with a front end that looks like that. I would switch to a larger Ram. Whoever designed that front end needs to be fired. They have no taste and no design sense. Ford should have installed more lights instead of using plastic coverings. The 22-23/4 model years are by far much nicer in appearance.

I am feeling PTSD symptoms after seeing the Front of the 2025 Maverick which reminded of my reaction to the horrible Lexus SUV grills!! Did Ford hire Lexus desinger to buture the front!?! Whose idea was it to have 2 Metal paddles aim north towards the LED front light?! It looks like it was an after-thought to cover empty holes behind them (see photo).

I am not impressed and I doubt I will

Ford Maverick What went wrong with the 2025 Maverick Front!? 2025 Maverick front

I agree, terrible, looks like the rear of the last gen honda pilot, has exact same problem with the tailights.
Ford Maverick What went wrong with the 2025 Maverick Front!? sddefault

I used to work in automotive, specifically making headlamps for a while, so quite sensitive to ugly, and don't understand why the the designers don't see it, but believe me the people making it are shaking there heads too. I'm recalling the 90's Buick where someone thought the pointy bumper was cool, we know now it was like three people at GM and the rest of the world deemed it ugly. It was so bad the cars coming off lease were near worthless, I needed a car and at the used car lot a 3 year old one was 5K but the GM twin Oldsmobile was 12K with normal styling. 7K DISCOUNT FOR UGLY. I couldn't do it. Will be looking forward to the next full redesign Mav.

One good thing is the grill is larger and the lights are a little smaller.

Yeah, it looks ugly. But, at the right price, I have bought a lot of ugly cars.

I prefer the old front end though.

Dramatic updates, IMO, are usually a miss. Domestically speaking, I think one that was received well was the mid 90's Dodge truck front end that changed substantially from the early 90's, dated look.

A subtle change is one thing but this was quite the deviation.

One could mask that and paint it flat black ...

Well, it's like working for the government. You get hired to design so you design. Even if it's bad or you don't know what you're doing. I work for the government.

I wonder if this detail will be refreshed in the 2026 model year? Ford isn't deaf. All major OEMs monitor social media. They're hearing what we're saying.

I don't mind the new front, but prefer the old one. The new Lobo grill reminds me of a Lincoln grill too much. Looks totally daft.

The new Tremor grill is nowhere near as good as the old one.

However, I do like many of the new features, such as the 360 degree camera and larger display.
