I did a New Mexico trip from DFW back in March with my Eco FX4 4K. Went to Carlsbad first before moving up north to Santa Fe. Then came back south through Albuquerque to Las Cruces. Went to El Paso and then back east to DFW. On the trip out west, there was a lot of headwind. My mileage was in...
Both of my front doors have the occasional rattle. It stops if I apply pressure on the arm rest. I've also been contemplating pulling off the door panel to check and have the same concerns as you. I've been putting it off until I decide to buy some aftermarket front door speakers.
I followed the first post from this: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/finally-forscan-coding-to-disable-the-seatbelt-information-screen-confirmed-working.45892/
The first section turns off the Seatbelt info screen and chime. There are links in the middle under "EDIT: ALTERNATIVE...
I did it using Forscan. Works great. Also got rid of that annoying seatbelt reminder screen. Why in the world does that screen need to stay on for so long?
I had always thought that "Battery Saver" and "Deep Sleep" were the same. I've never gotten a Deep Sleep notification. On the older version of the Ford app, I would get the Battery Saver message every now and then. The interior lights worked almost all of the time when I opened the door to get...
I use to get this notification once in a long while in the old version of the app. It was usually if I didn't drive the truck once in over a week. With the new updated version of the app, I seem to get this all the time now. Even after a longer drive (between 30 minutes and an hour).
My default time was 75 minutes but my dash cam stayed on for 90 minutes. Now that I've set for 30 minutes, it does shut off after 30 minutes from my testing. But that's only when the battery is full (usually only if I put it on a trickle charger overnight).
I don't know if Forscan is working for the 2025 trucks yet. But if it is, you can use it to change the default accessories timeout. Even though I verified that my dashcam had stayed on for 90 minutes, the default time was set at 75 minutes. I changed mine to 30 minutes to test the setting. It...
When my Maverick was new, my dash cam would also stay on for about 90 minutes after shutting off the engine. If you don't drive the truck enough, the accessories won't stay on as long. If the battery is near the low side (close to the Deep Sleep), the accessories immediately turn off at the...
My 2023 FX4 4K is slightly better than the combined EPA rating of 24 MPG. I'm getting in the 25 range in mixed driving. EPA is 22 city/28 hwy. I can get into the low 30s on the highway but only if I stay below 70 MPH.
I was also getting that same message recently. But the truck starts fine every time. I know I don't drive it enough (got it in March of 2023 and just recently passed 7000 miles). After getting the message for the fourth or fifth time, I placed a trickle charger on the battery overnight once and...
