I actually have no problem with the shift dial, just takes a little getting use to but frees up real estate not having a traditional gear shift. Two things I would like one of which the Bronco Sport is getting for '23, memory seats and mirrors, also how about navigation at least for the Lux package. For crying out loud it's just adding the APIM with nav, I added it to my Maverick, if I can do it then Ford can do it.

Well many things mentioned here. they would all ad to a higher price in some cases a lot more. Maybe a higher model than the lariat for you rich guys. There were a few I like that wouldn't raise the price much. Like windows auto up . Maybe split back seat. Sure sync 3 or 4 would be nice but $$$ .

Why not get rid of the useless rotary shifter. If a real shifter is too much money. Put the P-R-N-D-L on the LCD screen. Once keys goes in or you push the start button this selection lights up. Make your choice.

The 8 speed could then have a Manual option with paddle shifters.

This may free up some room on the console area. Plus one less piece of hardware to pay for.
I don't know what model you have but my XLT has p-R-N-D-L on my display, And my BIG Gripe is the brakes grabbing with a mind of their own at low speeds I've found that in stop & go traffic putting the truck in low gear helps. But that's not the point, I keep grumbling to my my service advisor so maybe Ford will figure out the problem I have 3K miles on it and still not happy with the brakes. That is my biggest complaint about my Hybrid!!!!

He was saying he wants the shifter integrated into the touch screen. Now, this is a horrible idea and I'm not endorsing it, just clarifying what he meant.

I was thinking of screen over center stack. One could make their gear selection choice there instead of shifter.

I have one I think everyone can probably agree on is needed.

Optional Roof Rails. Just has to be something to attach to. Doesnt have to stick up, just a load point with plugged bolt holes. I would change so much in the trucks truck ability.

I have been driving for 23 years and wouldnt buy it without a key, wish to god it had hand crank windows and only have to charge the battery in my phone every few days, since im not a teenager. I just have one of those talky type phones with the buttons.
I've been driving for a lot longer than you and would prefer crank windows. Ever try to go to a drive up bank or postal drop box and your window is frozen? Before electric windows I could reef in the handle an free the window. So now if the window is frozen I have to creep ahead a bit and open my door and sometimes even un-fasten my seat belt. I also prefer a key.

Based solely on the howling contained in numerous threads, over a span of 8+ months, me thinks Ford should re-design the door pockets beneath the front door handles they touted (loudly and often) as 'revolutionary' and replace 'em with pockets that actually accept a range of containers humans actually use.

Yeah, I know...crazy talk.

Apparently Ford needs to change the Maverick into a tarted-up SUV. Maybe that's the next family member?

Get rid of the dash "cubby" (bigger screen or change the layout) and make it possible to keep it in eco drive mode without having to change it every freaking time.

The rotary shifter knob IS a "real" shifter. It's just different. I would probably prefer the lever shifter but I'll get used to it.
Agree. Ford seems to be shifting away from them. New Ranger does not have it. If they do decide to keep it, do the Ram thing and put it on the dash.

I keep my cars for a long time. I know a window motor will go out and have never met a car that wasnt a pain in the but to replace em. Hand crank windows you may have to adjust some teeth in about 30 years. Having a key is just nice. Even if the remote lock battery dies you can still get in and start your truck.
