60/40 split rear seat.
I think this is the most legit one that doesn't make problems logistically with different builds and packages.

Really?.... all it does is make a micro connection so the computer can shift into the gear you desire.

I guess being brought up on manuals one gets use to a real shifter.
Do you think that autos with levers were actually moving linkage? It's been electronic for decades.

I was brought up on manuals (learned over 50 years ago) and my other two vehicles are manual. But, we are "flying by wire" now and that's that. With the eCVT there are no more increments (gears) and any throwbacks to the past are just temporary. Face it, we are dinosaurs.
so lets save some more money and get rid of the silly rotary shifter and free up some space.

All one is doing is telling which VFS to turn on or off.

Funny no where in my reply did I mention linkage being moved. I know better.

Even the stalk shifter of only few years ago acted just like a rotary.

I'm okay with that. Only what would they go to? It might just get weirder.

Voice command. "Maverick, shift to reverse". While driving on the freeway.

The thing that brought me to the Maverick truck in the first place was the fact that in my world this truck is basically an updated version of the vintage Ranger. Basic amenities updated to 2022, with better engines, gas mileage and suspension tweaks. On could argue if the 2.0 EB is better than the old 4.0 SOHC which is a rock solid engine, but no arguing the EB gets almost twice the gas mileage.

I'm good with what the Maverick offers. If I were inclined to find a beef, I would say Ford should at least offer extra cost options for Sync3, pushbutton start and electric rear window in the lower cost trim levels.

Based on this particular clip (including the sarcastic bit about not being a teenager), I would have guessed you'd been driving more like 53 years rather than 23. Did you hit the wrong button?
Nope but my beard did come in elementary school!

Wanted to see what you guys would change or not happy with on your maverick, maybe Ford is reading these posts.
My 3 biggest gripes are the key, I've had my truck 2 months now 1600 miles and got used to the dummy shifter But still get in the truck and put the seat belt on and realize the keys are in my pocket drives me crazy, come on now how many chips more would it take to make it keyless entry push button start My last 2/3 cars were keyless and it makes life so much easier.
Several of my previous vehicles had pushbutton start, which I could take or leave, but one thing I like with my Maverick is knowing that if I do have my key when walking away, the vehicle is OFF.

I would be 100% satisfied if the screen had better brightness and contrast as good as my Prius. Love having them both. If the 2023 has a better screen I might upgrade my screen if they swap.

Since the specs are out for the 23 * let’s move onto the 24* Upgraded to sync 4 technology I’d like gauge cluster as the f150 has now . Power seat just for the driver …
60/40 spilt . ST version tuned by roush . Eruption green , front camera add on . Now for hailmary ask. Maverick PHEV.

Might you think it's possible that Ford is not coming out with a AWD hybrid because of all the supply chain restraints? The EB is an option, so more profit for Ford and less restraints. If the Maverick is built on the same platform as the Escape, than it should have AWD available, since, correct me if I'm wrong, the Hybrid Escape comes in AWD.

I want rain sensing wipers and for the XLT interior to be the Lariat interior.

I'd also like the Lariat passenger seat to be powered but retain the 6 way adjustment.
