Outside of a SuperCab/Single Cab Maverick, what other vehicles would you like to see Ford release or resurrect? Ever since Ford axed sedans about 4 years ago (I think), they have had success bringing back the Bronco, the old Escape a.k.a Bronco Sport, and launching the Ford Maverick. Now with the F-150 Lightning on the horizon, what else should Ford have in their line up? Here's mine:
- Excursion HEV (especially now with the rumored SuperDuty hybrid coming soon)
- Explorer Sport - a 2 row, slightly smaller Explorer (especially since the Edge is being discontinued)
- Bronco Truck - a limited run, limited quantities cash grab that I honestly won't even be upset about it
- Focus EV by 2030 - I can explain this one. Use Europe's push towards EV's to better the technology (better range and charging times). Allow that to turn the Mustan Mach-E into a Tesla S Plaid competitor. After this happens, THEN bring back the Focus as the "detuned" version of the Mach-E built for the city. It that proves successful, THEN...
- Fusion EV by 2035 - I would only have Ford bring back 2 sedans and keep them as EV's exclusively. It's big enough to get them back into the sedan market but small enough that it shouldn't steal from them truck and SUV centered. But this only works once Ford has really dialed in EV technology through the Mach-E (and F-150 Lightning a little bit).
