If I get out of the truck and it’s running the horn honks briefly so that may help to not leave it running. I have a Lariat hybrid.
That is a good safety feature.

I'm hoping some enterprising dealerships will install 3D printers in their showrooms to allow customers to buy print-time, or just sell their own custom accessories.
Although I have not seen, but have been told that here in AZ, a lot of the Public Libraries have 3D printers for Patrons to use.

The rattles, the sunglasses holder, and the quality of the headliner (it is not tucked in at the edges and you can see how it is just cheaply glued on. The edges of the fabric are frayed and it will likely start peeling after a couple years.)

Lack of a plug-in option, low 120v wattage, no 2-door option with a longer bed, and adaptive cruise availability.

Base XL has manual seats adjust and manual window adjust
Yup and I ordered an XL because I'm just fine with those things. My '03 Sport Trac also has a rubberized floor, no carpet. Easy to clean. Wish the XL had that too.

I really don't have much to gripe about, my Maverick has been great. That being said, a few minor annoyances- the shift knob, I personally just can't stand the look of it or it's placement. The lack of fog lights as an option or factory accessory seems short sighted. Also, like all new Fords, there is so much information missing from parts catalogs months after the roll out- not specific to the Mav but quite frustrating when these are sold as being easy to mod/customize.

I'll start by saying the Ford Integrated Tether System looks promising, but I think I will end up hating it.

On the outside you may think "Cool, I can create anything I want for that slot". That was my initial take on it, but then I started to think of what will happen if I don't occupy the slot. Immediately I imagined a coin or Lego being dropped down in there, thus rendering the slot useless unless you are lucky enough to find a way to fish out the obstruction. Then I thought if possible crumb or dust buildup that could occur, making the fit of any future accessories a bit wonky unless you blast it with compressed air.

First thing I plan to do when I get the vehicle is to build a nice removable plug for that slot.
I see your point. Thingiverse.com has what I think you need to print on a 3D printer. Might want to check in with it to see what is available for Maverick Truck. If I design anything it will be posted there...maybe the community will even print it up for you for a small pittance. You may check some of my designs there under Dadmezz...the designers seem always ready to help.
Hope this helps someone.

I seems dumb to 3D print something like a cup holder. Why not just print the tab that inserts into the FITS socket and have a couple of screw holes in it? Then screw or glue that onto whatever you like, a cup holder, waste basket, etc. Think of the FITS tab as an "adapter" that then attaches to whatever you like.

The fact that the truck cannot remember to start in Eco mode, so it’s 4 hits of the dang button every time I start.

Oh…..anyone find it interesting that the glove compartment is damped (at factory) but not the tailgate?

I know what you mean about the Eco Mode. Annoying. Can’t relate to the tailgate damper though, I never let mine slam down and have never felt the need to install one. Would much rather have hood dampers.

This.

I never realized Keys and free hanging tailgates we're ancient historical inconvenient items until the Maverick didn't have them lol. I'm only 32 but hearing people and older reviewers complain about that made me feel old and confused.

That's exactly what I had a member on here do for me! This was I can attach to whatever I want.
