Love my Maverick. Are there things I would add? Sure, everyone wants to add something. I would like fog lights... As after market grows I am sure I will do that. I'm not fond of the sound system... But that just gives me something to tinker with. Manual would be nice... I have to admit, the 8 speed auto is pretty darn good. Overall... For the price and capabilities... Great little truck. I have been wanting another truck but it seems they are becoming bigger and more expensive. For what I do.. perfect size.

Like least, if I even think about turning the wheel when the turn signal is on it clicks off.

It can remember lane assist and auto break hold, but not the last drive mode I had it on? Why isn’t eco the default (at least in the Hybrid)
Someone already makes a device that will remember and default to your auto stop-start setting. Maybe they will make one that will remember your drive mode setting...

What I like least about the Maverick is that I have to wait so long to get one to find out what i really like least.

That you can’t get the lariat headlights/taillights in the other trims. Having a headlight where only half of it works is dumb.

No cruise control on the XL. It's a cheap way to get you into the next trim level.
This was such an obvious slimy, lowdown, cheezy, maneuver,to get at your wallet!!

So, now I have to buy a 3D printer to build a trash can?
Ok guys, some of you with 3D printers need to get going and create items for the slots and sell them on this site.

Sync3 or 4 standard on all models. No flip key, like come on we have cars that drive themselves and Ford uses a key lol. No defrost on rear window. I live in Canada its friggin cold up here and my windows freeze up.

Grumbles:
- The lack of adaptive cruise control on the XLT trim.
- The use of a key in the XLT trim.

Growls:
- The likelihood that cost and supply chain issues gave us an 8" screen with a little shrine instead of a proper 12" screen.
- No hybrid with AWD and 4K tow.

Oh come on you know they could have done this:
- I wish they could have reduced the engine bay by 5", pushed the cab forward, and offered a 5' bed.
I like that - ā€œLittle shrineā€.

No Sirius XM without the luxury package on my Lariat.

Shifts into park when in neutral and you open a door. It makes it difficult to run through my full service car wash. I will have to get out while they do the interior then get back in when they are done to put it into the track myself to go thru the car wash. They will not like it. Then when it comes out since I’m in the truck they assume I only paid for exterior cleaning so I have to talk them into finishing the vehicle.

[Update] - Took it to the car wash and they had no problem with me running it thru myself. In addition they radioed to the guys on the other end to expect me and they took over and finished drying and doing windows etc. Worked out great!

Vehicle sits too low, I’d like to see a minimum 1ā€ lift on awd a 2ā€ on fx4

Column shifter and bench seats! Let’s get back to your roots Ford🤣

I’m not joking either. If a bench would fit I’d be all about that!

I think the screen should be upgradable. I’m excited to do that in a few years.

If it makes you feel better the push button start is overrated.

1. Where do you put your keys on long road trips? Well they end up traveling in the car and when you stop to pee you forget them.

2. You may leave the car running and not know it as hybrids can be extremely quite. I’ve done this with my Prius a few times. Heck it was left on for 2 full days once because I left town…oops. Didn’t use much fuel though.

3. The technology fails and you’re fucked. A long time ago my Nissan Altima wouldn’t start one day. You need to depress the brake to start push button cars, the sensor went out. It was a $30 part that no one had in stock. Had to wait 3 days for a 30 second install.

Two weeks ago my Prius wouldn’t start and I had to walk 2 miles (each way) to Walmart and buy a battery for the fob.

Randomly my signal is blocked on my keys to the car and I have to dig my keys out of my pocket and get the car to since them. Once the Prius said ā€œno keys detectedā€ and beeped at me for an hour of a road trip with the keys in the car. My wife wasn’t happy
If I get out of the truck and it’s running the horn honks briefly so that may help to not leave it running. I have a Lariat hybrid.

Those blanks are not for fog lights, but for tow hooks in the fx4 package.
They should've put a different bumper cover on trucks without tow hooks. The "blanks" cry out that something is missing and cheapen the look of the truck.
