Nice clean 2003 F-150 you can tell it's from North Carolina 2003's don't look like that up here in Northeast Ohio!!
Thank you sir! :D That Truck is originally from South Carolina, the previous owner didn't take care of it so I've been rebuilding it as I go.

Replaced a 2020 Fusion with about 110K on it. One of the last ones they produced. Great vehicle but couldn't resist the upgrade. One downside - the Fusion had a stock auto dimming mirror. I do miss it.

Was two vehicles, this '08 M6 and a '08 Sequoia Platinum
M6 was giving me so much anxiety/stress hearing the check engine chime at random points but the V10 sounded amazing. You had to go back to a regular car every once in a while to appreciate it.

Used AI to recreate my old rig... but this was pretty much it. My wife wrecked the stock bumper pulling into a narrow atm lane, So i put this ~500lbs bumper on so she could wreck to her hearts content..really changed the dynamics of the truck tho...worse braking, slower turning etc...(never hit anything else)

Did You have a bunch of problems with the Tesla?
Not necessarily. It just doesn’t fit my requirements anymore. Having a house, maintenance, yard work, outdoor activities, and etc. The Tesla just doesn’t cut it anymore.

My 25 Maverick replaced my Flex, which replaced my 23 Maverick, which replaced my 99 E150 club wagon (bought because my New 5.0 Mustang couldn't haul anything but ass) which replaced my F150 RCSB 5.0. So in a roundabout way, my Maverick replaced my F150.

Replaced a 2018 Buick Regal TourX. Great little wagon, strong 2.0T, torque verctoring AWD, but it was an orphan on GMs tree and I wanted to sell it while there was still some value left in it.

Oh and turbo fuel economy sucks in stop and go traffic.

2017 Toyota Corolla LE. It went to our granddaughter. Her Focus had 150k miles on it, this Corolla had 31k. We love our Maverick.

Always did like that style of Ranger. That and the Mazda twin. Had a Ford salesman tell me one time that the Ranger was the best vehicle Ford had--because it was made by Mazda--don't know if he was kidding or really serious. But you do see a lot still around--just like the old gen 1 tacos.
The salesman was partially correct. The Ford courier (the rangers predecessor) was a rebadged Mazda. But the original Ranger actually had the same engine that started life in the Pinto. The Mazda pickup was a rebadged ranger. Prior to 2001 they both used the Ford " Pinto " engine as the base engine which was basically bulletproof. Starting in 2001 they both used the Mazda designed 2.3 which was also a great engine (but not quite as bulletproof if abused). If you got the 3.0 or 4.0 v6, both of those were purely Ford engines. I believe the Mazda pick up was a discontinued after 2008 or 2009. Interesting note: both the current 2.5 and the 2.0 engines in the Maverick are descendants of the Mazda engine.

I had an 89 Mazda B2200 and it was by far the most reliable vehicle I ever owned. I used it as a commuter to save my F150 from getting worn out fast. It wound up having tranny problems and a spun rod bearing. Had it 9 years, had a lift. I babied it, only had 80k miles and just fell apart while the Mazda had 170k miles over 11 years and only changed brakes. Over time I had to rebuild and repaint the F150, because gutters above doors rusted out. It was my first and last Ford until getting the Maverick in 2024. The hybrid version drew me in.

My Mav ended up replacing my 2007 Ford Ranger Sport (Scab, 3.slow, manual, 4.10 gears).

The ranger called "Dimples" led me to this truck. 325,000km, original engine, trans, clutch and rear end. And I put that truck through a lot of abuse. Thats not a squat kit, that is 2200lbs in the bed.

That was a mistake as the person at the depot store told me each stone was 40lbs, and in reality it was 80lbs a stone and we had 25 stones in there I think. It was years ago. Just one of many, many adventures.

The ranger gave me a solid 19 years of service with little heartache. Its still running around a farm doing work but salt got it and it rotted away.

Good Job Dimples. You're retired now.

Replaced my 2021 Honda Accord hybrid with a 2025 Maverick XLT 2.0 eco. The Accord hybrid was a great commuter car but I needed something with more utility since I retired. Happy so far.
