Yea same the mav is my first fordSold my 2014 Honda Accord LX-MT to Carmax rather than trading in for the Maverick. Sold the Honda with 84,000 miles and was pissed because my mechanic told me that the engine for that particular year had notorious engine piston leaks/burning oil. Because of this issue cropping up so early into ownership of this Honda (the rest of what I owned I got 200-300K miles out of them before trading/selling) I told Honda to go screw.
The Maverick is my first Ford (buying two F150's for my husband doesn't count) and my first truck.
If you've got a back blade for your tractor - especially one with the "scarifier" blades (little plow-like devices that extend downward) - you can really help your driveway out by running a few passes with the scarifiers in the "down" position to being all the gravel back to the surface. The process also gets rid most of the "hump" in the center of the gravel road. After that, several passes with the back blade to smooth things back down, and a few more passes using the tractor tires to pack it down evenly will do wonders to improve the road.My mother in law got a new EcoSport AWD to replace her KJ Liberty. I was worried about ground clearance so we got a little more gravel to fill in the ruts and solidify them. Once I get my tractor running I will get a couple 15ton loads and grade it back out nice. But 2wds without serious tires and and traction aids just arent made for it.
