It's one thing I've noticed since owning my maverick, at night the headlights coverage aren't as great as other vehicles. Since the leds are lower to the ground, and I've personally checked the aim & alignment of the low & high beam.

On my 24' the low/high beams center at 30 & 1/2". If they would have moved them to the top instead of the bottom of the housing center would be around 37" for better light coverage. I don't think personally flip-flopping the DRL to the lower portion of the headlight would hurt anything. But that's me.
Sounds like you've done your homework on this. Appreciate your posting. We'll have to see how the 25's compare to previous years, but I think you've hit on something that might explain the revision.

I mean it's worked well since the model T. 😄

A while ago I created a post showing how we can hide the undesirable look of the '25 front end redesign. (Best Idea Ever)

I realized today, we're just looking at this all wrong. Remember those pictures that can be two things? In this one you either see a chalice (if you focus on the white) or two faces facing each other (if you focus on the black). You see something entirely different depending on which color you focus on.

.

It just depends on what you focus on. From now on I'm focusing on the ominous horns down bull image. "Who's with me? Let's go! Ahhhhhhhh...."
Not me, it's cheap looking.

I just focus on the fact that it looks like a designer with a hang-over just didn’t know what to do with that space, so he just blanked it out!

If it ain't broke, don't change it. I still say the 22-24's look better! Change can be good, and change can be bad. I guess the sales numbers will tell the final story.

Same thing I was thinking !! It does open up the possibility of aftermarket bumper cover/ headlight fill LOL .

I saw a few '25s at the dealer today. They look way better in real life than they do in photos. Not bad at all.
How did you see 2025 Mavericks on a dealer lot? Production does not start until 11 November?

When I look at it, I see a truck that I'll pass on and wait for the next model year.
Easy for me since I have a '24 Lariat that I love.
I agree with you. I have a '23 Lariat and I think what they did with the fascia extending up to the headlights looks terrible. It appears it covers a good portion of the headlight!
