As far as I know there is no solution yet for the brake/turn signal bulbs. You would likely need a resistor to match the prior bulb wattage so they don’t hyperflash/show the bulb is out. Diode Dynamics was working on one @SgtLip might know more.
I replaced all of the bulbs except the headlamps with LED's on my PT Cruisers. For the front park/turn bulbs I have "switchbacks" which are white for park then flash amber when the turn signal is on. Tail/Brake bulbs are red LED's. I have 2 resistors on each side which are added to the turn signal wires to prevent the hyperflash. I put clear lenses on my sedan's taillights so the same switchback bulbs are used in the rear turn signals. I added an extra wire from the reverse circuit to each of the turn signal sockets so I have brighter light when in reverse, and normal amber with the turn signal. 4-way flashers and turn signals always override the park and reverse white lights.

It does mystify me why some cars will have LED tail/brake, but incandescent turn signals. Must be the $5 resistors add too much to the bottom line...

I'll order mine when I get my build date ☺
I'm with you on that one. I sure don't want to spend bucks today for something that won't show up for 6 months if at all.

Great post and well thought out video! I sent this to my son who just put LED's in his new Chevrolet Sierra 1500 and had so much difficulty. He could not believe how easy this task was. Makes me look forward to my Hybrid XLT arrival so I can do the same. WELL DONE!

Just did this install.

Quick and easy, much better reverse lighting now. One recommendation I have is to use a regular screw driver to reassemble the taillight. I was using a driver and it overtorqued a bit when putting the light back on pulling the taillight slightly out of line.

Loosed it up and finished it with a regular screw driver. Much more control.
Decent screw guns with torque adjustment aren't really expensive...

Yes absolutely you can use a drill and adjust your torque perfectly to this specific job. Just be ready to potentially re-do the work by over-torquing accidentally. It only takes a second with a power tool. Then your 10 minute job turns into 20-30 minutes.

I use drills and drivers daily so I know my way around them. I'm all about using the best tool for the job, and in this case the tool for this job is a screw driver (for re-attaching, at least). Gives you the most control and feel over re-assembly to ensure the taillight is factory flush, and takes less than 1 minute. I see no benefit here to using a drill.

As you may have noticed, the 2022 Ford Maverick is a relatively new vehicle. With that being the case, not all vendors have matched the 2022 Ford Maverick to their products. As I've stated in this thread, there have been quite a few members that have purchased this set and installed them with no issues.

Most likely because they haven't adjusted the web site to include the Maverick. There have been a bunch of people getting it and using it without problems.
That is correct. Anything on Amazon that I have seen will still say, will not Fit Maverick. It works great

Thanks, just changed the torque setting to 4. Easy job!

This swap was just the reverse lights.

I installed these in the BRAKE and in the TURN SIGNAL sockets, just to see if they work, before I installed them in BACKUP lamp sockets (2022 Mav XL). They fit easily and did NOT throw any codes.

Are they available in Red?
