Typically there is so much clutch debris in old ATF (100K mi+) that it is better just to leave it be instead of flushing it.I always thought that a trans flush is not a good idea. Dealer said that it's ok unless you have 100K and it's the first service. Your thoughts ?
I once did an initial drain & fill (not flush) on a ten year old Vibe/Corolla 200K mi+ engine. It shifty jerky for a hundred miles or so. Once the old ATF mixed in with the new it got back to shifting normally. Whew…
