Correct. However, once they declined to mount just two tires, they then refused to sell me two tires to go, because "they knew the plan I had for the tires and would therefore be "liable".
They said that their policy required that 4WD vehicles could not have different tires on the front and rear. All four had to be the same. I looked at them like they were from Mars.
I said that I would have no problem with it, not that it would be my first choice. Also, the mismatched rim, IMHO, is purely aesthetic. As long as the overall assembly (diameter, width, offset, rollout) matched, the different rim is functionally irrelevant.
I choose to disagree. The spare on my Lariat, while on a non-matching steel wheel, is very close to the OVERALL size of the tires on the ground. I would have no problem driving several thousand miles or more on that particular spare. I would probably put it on the back axle if I was driving it...
I am keeping it until the sun refuses to shine!
I still have my 2009 F150 with almost 200K.
I kept my 87 Bronco II for 220K miles,
My 89 K-1500 had 210K when I traded it.
I kept my Chrysler 300m for 12 years.
On of my biggest complaints about my 2025 Mav Hybrid is the Automatic Climate Control. It simply doesn't work well. I can have it set at 72 degrees and feel a little cold so I set it to 73 or 74 and there is no change. Still cold air blowing out the vents. I have to push to 77 or 78 before there...
How do these get powered? Where is the video stored? How far back in time can I retrieve a video? Why did one example hook to the vehicle's data link connector? Som camera's have front an rear view in one camera.
The entire road in Labrador is paved. All the way from Blanc Sablon to Labrador City. Excellent road condition. However, Route 389 in Quebec still has two extensive gravel segments. The 66km from Mont Wright south to Fire Lake is gravel and then the 93km from Relais-Gabriel south to Manic 5 is...
I just returned from 16 day 5500 mile road trip through Maine, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Labrador ending with a 2 day stop in Quebec city. Oddly, the gas mileage, and cost, was a bit bizzare.
First of all everything is recorded in US$, in miles and in...

Camshaft/Lifter Wear: Some early engines experienced premature wear on the camshaft and lifters due to low oil pressure at idle caused by the variable-displacement oil pump. Ford has addressed this with updated oil pump calibrations.

Interesting. I have a 2025 Lariat Hybrid AWD. I have no problem with the "full size" or "conventional" spare being on a steel wheel. I also have no problem with it being a 17" instead of the 19" that is on all four corners. All that matters is that the diameter, circumference, and revs/mile are...
Thank you for the great review. However I have one extremely frustrating issue. I am sure that I have missed something simple.
You wrote " If you just toggle without going into MyView, it seems like it gives you the main 5".
Yup, happens every time. Could somebody tell me HOW to "go into...
I SWEAR that my 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid (after shutting off) used to play the radio until I opened the door. It would stop playing the instant I would open the door. THEN, after a few months, it started to continue playing for two seconds then it would shut off.
Weird. I used to use the...
