Are you sure it was the PTU you had them service and not the Transmission? Can you post the Work order from that service? Welp, its really sounding like the Dealership screwed up your initial service you had them do. Im guessing they drained either the PTU or Transmission and didnt fill it...

I changed mine at 10k and visually looking at the fluid, you could clearly see break in metals dispersed in the fluid. I'll send in a sample to Blackstone when I change it again at 30k. It will be an interesting contrast to this sample.

The first fluid change is the most important one you'll ever do on any of the Powertrain components.

Can people please state what altitude they live/or mostly driving at? Altitude has a huge effect on this. And these "expirements" mean mostly nothing without this factor included. I live at 6000 feet and 87 octane is more than adequate for the ecoboost at this elevation.
