  1. GM: No dipstick, dipsh*t.

They certainly could find other measures to cut costs and keep these legacy items on their engines. Was not thrilled years ago when auto tranny dipsticks went bye-bye! Another reason all of my vehicles were manual trannys.
  2. Fog Lights Design Poll - Vote Here

I also vote "D" with the white light. Keep the housing recessed for a cleaner installation!
  3. LED Tail Lights options for 2025+ Maverick

Couldn't agree more! Fit, form, and appearance is top notch! In my case, I also added rear camera. Loving it
  4. Heated Seats Recommendations

I've used heated seat kits from "Check Corporation" out of the Detroit Mich area. Installed a couple of them over the past 15 years. Great quality, Made in USA and they get HOT right away. Will be putting a set into my 1992 F-150 upon restoration
  5. Factory Spray-in bed liner

That's a nice "extra" feature. Never even noticed it until you mentioned it
  6. Hello from Mangoal Dash Cam | Here to support Maverick owners

Kelly. Thanks for posting pics of running this cable from rear of Maverick, to the front mirror area. I too have the sunroof option and will be doing this exact same setup. Will be going from my rear dome light (temporary access point for now) to the front mirror.
  7. 2025 - Morimoto X3B LED third brake light

Correct. As soon as I receive my hardwire kit, I can button up the WolfBox camera installation for good. Then take a month or so break from the Mav mods, and install the Diode Dynamics fog lights. I have a real impressive setup planned for that. It won't be like anything any of you have seen...
  8. 2025 - Morimoto X3B LED third brake light

NO. It strictly comes on with dome light supervision only. BTW, it is truly EXTREMELY bright when in total darkness. No comparison to the stock bed light! I plan on shooting a very short clip of the comparison of a stock Maverick (my son's 2026 Lariat) and mine shown here in this thread. It...
  9. Does Fluid Film wash off during car wash?

This application is a MUST if you plan on keeping your Maverick for a long time AND if you're in a region that treats roads in the wintertime. I've used "RustChek" which is pretty much the same as "Krown". Just ask our neighbors to the north if it's worth it or not. My 2014 Silverado has had...
  10. Mangoal Dash Cam Install, Footage, Test Review

Excellent video showing installation regardless of whose dash cam is being installed. Several of these procedures will be followed no matter which camera is being used. Great job! (y)
  11. Ohio Lariat Take Offs - Wheels, Tires, TPMS - $1400

Fair enough. Wasn't sure how serious you were in getting rid of them. Between my son & I (two 2026 Maverick Lariat family) we'd just want a spare set of rims if the price was right. Possibly have a winter set mounted on them or just have on hand in the event one of the originals got damaged...
  12. Crossroads3D - WolfBox Rear Camera Mount (3rd Brake Light)

Dave. I forgot to give you credit in my other post "Morimoto brake light install" where several members helped me out in the installation and purchasing of certain components. Well I did EXACTLY what you did (6 months later) but attached it to the Morimoto brake light instead of the stock ford...
  13. Ohio Lariat Take Offs - Wheels, Tires, TPMS - $1400

Might be interested in these BUT not at that price. I'm just two hours to your west. If you want to sell them, make the price more attractive. Thanks!
  14. Florida Wolfbox G900 Pro

Glad you found a buyer. If they back out, then let me know. I didn't jump on this right away as I was in the process of installing the exact product in my 2026 Mav Lariat and didn't want to purchase another one (for my F150 being restored) until I knew how they operate and if I liked it. Well...
  15. 2025 - Morimoto X3B LED third brake light

Yeah, for now anyways. The folks at Wolfbox did not offer the rear camera in a smaller configuration AND I didn't feel like butchering it up just yet as I'm not sure what is encased in the complete housing. My guess is that it is merely a cylindrical camera with epoxy filler to where you see it...
  16. 2025 - Morimoto X3B LED third brake light

Finally spent the day and installed my 3rd brake light. A big thanks to the following for their posts and information: Treimche (8-23-2019 on Ranger forum), Georgeb 2-17-2023, Wilbur 10-20-2023, and Aleks here. The reason mine took so long was that I wanted to include the rear camera mounted...
  17. Morimoto 3rd Brake Light Upgrade

Good post here and should help me out when I install mine in a couple days. Not only will I be mounting the X3B40 brake light, BUT it will also have the rear camera for my G900 tri-pro camera system. Some tricky "fishing" of cables but I'm good at that. I'll post everything here in this thread.
  18. Hood struts installed

Same here, even though I'm responding back some 3.25 years later! 😮 Bought the SS version of the Redline hood struts. Easy installation and work great. Very pleased with them so far.
  19. Unhood Insulation

Apparently I scared everybody away ! Getting back on topic here, I ended up buying one as mentioned in post # 118. The hood pad itself is pretty good BUT the hardware and instructions (lack thereof) totally suck! Like most Chinese modification items for just about anything, you had better...
  20. Unhood Insulation

NO. I have both and you don't even know it's there!
