Nice link! I saved it for future reference. Hopefully I won't need to reference it for a LONG time! I'd assume newer build 2006 models are the same as the 2025 models. No 2026 model listed.
Will "pull the trigger" on these specials in the next couple weeks before they expire. Just like Steve above, will be signing up TWO mavericks. Mine will be ZERO deductible, and my son's will be 100 deductible. Both 2026 Lariat trim models.
YEP. The BAP looks much better on the orange than if I were to have it on my Red. Oh, seeing how you're in the Columbus area, we drove down your way to Germain Ford on Sawmill Rd (terrible traffic in that area) and drove it home to the Toledo area. Very nice dealership BUT extremely congested...
Guess I'll finally upload my fleet of Mavericks here. Oregon (suburb of Toledo) but also spend a lot of summer time in the Port Clinton/Catawba area. My Ruby Red, and sons Orange Mavericks. Both Lariat trim. got them a couple weeks ago
Good point and thanks for the tip. Yeah one hour of labor and lots of "unsticking" not to mention small air bubbles to remove, was not pleasant. I'll be doing my son's Orange Maverick soon and will try this trick and see how it goes. Thanks! (y)
Excellent work guys and thanks for sharing. That's what makes these forums so valuable to all of us. F***book and other sites don't have the content and reputation. I'll be adding lots of interesting content to this site over the coming years. I'm recently retired and "should" have a lot of...
Hmmmm ...... I'll have to look into the possibility of folding/collapsing seats. Definitely will be a fall/winter project. Will likely be challenging BUT that's what I live for!
I will be doing a rear seat delete probably end of summer BUT will possibly keep one of the seats intact. I've got an older Pfaff industrial sewing machine where I did a lot of upholstery back in the 80's. Will research the possibilities of coming up with a modular setup to where 50/50 or 60/40...
A two year bump on this thread. Got some "basic" vinyl gloss white letters to match the Ford oval trim. Ebay specials (less than $20) and they were a "b i t c h" to apply, but once they were finally set, turned out real nice.
To all out there in the Maverick world. Thread title change from "future" to "new" as I officially got my maverick a couple weeks ago, and not just myself, but my son got one too! Both are Lariat trim, with 4K tow, moonroof, power rear slider. Mine is the Ruby Red, his is the Orange with BAP...
You mentioned "order"? You shouldn't have to. Lots of inventory out there to where you should find something close to what you want. You did what I did six months ago ..... signed up & picked everybody's brain to learn as much about the maverick as possible before actually getting one. Good move
I've only had my 2026 Lariat a couple weeks and a sunroof was a must for me. Will use it a lot and am not worried about any leaking issues or other problems. If there becomes any problems, it's nothing that can't be fixed.
Most of my personal vehicles have had sunroofs. The problems were I was never home to drive them much. Was always in a commercial service van/truck AND on call a lot! Now being retired, I can drive my personal vehicles more often. My 2026 Mav Lariat Hybrid (just picked up today) definitely has...
I was going to ask the same question! It almost sounded like it was purchased a few weeks ago then all this shit happened to it. If that were the case then YES, take it back to the dealer. Maybe if it was purchased three years ago and slowly had some problems, then that's a different story...
Lariat for me. Don't like the price BUT the extra features are certainly nice to have. Retired and $$$ is not so much a problem like when I was younger. Can't take it with you so may as well enjoy more of the luxuries while I still can!
Saw one of them in Lariat trim in the Columbus area when we picked up my son's new Maverick. Definitely nice to see another color "stand out" amongst your typical Black, white, silver, & grays that every car maker uses. Also it may not show the dirt as bad as some of the other colors!
