Could a 2023 Tremmor or a 2023 Hybrid, without any packages handle this trailer ok? KG vs LB?

2200 KILOGRAMSIf it's 2200 lbs and you're not adding any weight on top of that (is it a camper that would be loaded with water, gear, etc?) you'd proably be OK for short distances. But for long trips you're really pushing the limits on comfort, safety and stress on the vehicle.
I don't think it says that.2200 KILOGRAMS
And your answer is yes.Could a 2023 Tremmor or a 2023 Hybrid, without any packages handle this trailer ok? KG vs LB?
Well, then, 2200 is the GROSS Vehicle weight. They need the dry weight to determine what it actually weighs. Simple math, using GVWR and GCVWR to determine if it works for the purpose.I don't think it says that.
Weird label. But looks like 2200 lbs.
Sigh. The Maverick may have available GVWR to carry some gear while keeping the Towed weight under the 2000 max. But you can't violate either rating, as well as hitch limitation.
I was going to say something but decided to leave it alone, but I am glad I did because your response is top notch I couldn't have done better myself. Also, I personally would never surpass the max "recommend" tow weight for a vehicle. (Clears throat... no sarcasim at all) Feel free to check out my thread in my signature.Sigh.
I suppose just like you can't violate the speed limit on the street. Or tint your front windows. Or add 2 million candle power headlamps (my personal pet peeve).
The burst pressure of the tires is 200% of recommended tire pressure.
The life of the motor oil is 200% of the recommend oil change interval.
The crush weight for the suspension is 200% of the recommend cargo weight.
The braking force for the seatbelts is 500% of worst case scenario crash.
But you are right. Don't tow a pound over 2,000 lest ye truck break in half and explode.
Yeah normally with this kind of stuff I feel exactly the sameI was going to say something but decided to leave it alone, but I am glad I did because your response is top notch I couldn't have done better myself. Also, I personally would never surpass the max "recommend" tow weight for a vehicle. (Clears throat... no sarcasim at all) Feel free to check out my thread in my signature.
