In the morning when I check the pressure cold with the app, the rears are both 35 and the fronts both 36, like I want. But after driving a while they are all out of whack, and I can’t figure out why! 🤣🤣🤣

They didn't teach you Boyle's Law in school up north, eh?
Ha! Just trying to lighten the mood here billbill. If there is one thing I do know is fluctuating tire pressure here in the “North”! 😉

🤔
Last Saturday morning it was 87° ambient in the garage when I aired up the tires on my Maverick.
Using my Stanley air pump / jump starter. Because of the desert heat, I purposely set the tire pressure at 34psi .

Same day. This is the result of the truck sitting in the sun at 100° for 1 hour.

Well, we all know the TPMS aren’t 100 % accurate, just close enough. That why I’ve spent a few $ on an accurate gauge.

At this point, I'm pretty happy with the accuracy of mine.
I aired up in my garage 87° ambient. Using my Stanley air compressor / jump starter.
Set on 34 PSI, which is exactly what my truck showed. SEE POST #5 ☝
Even after driving for an hour. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was equal in the parameters I expected.

That’s totally normal - tire pressure goes up once they heat up from driving. As long as your cold pressures are set right in the morning, you’re good

If you drive in reveres on the return trip they should go back down to the original setting.

I'll wait for the replies from those who lack the jest detector.
That makes sense. Wouldn't it also make the mileage go backwards... 😉 😂

Ferris and Cameron had it figured out back in '86 😂

@Meeka I'd say those pressures are fine though!

On my truck the driver's side also always gets to be 1 PSI higher than the passenger after driving and getting up to temp.

That's like "what happens if you play a Country & Western record backwards?" You get your truck back, you get your job back, you get your chick back...
