I just adore these comparison pictures, seriously. They crack me up every time. Can't wait to get mine and go troll the Home Depot parking lot to park next to the biggest damn dually I can find.

You just thought to yourself, that's what she said, be honest. I can't believe there are people out there who think the maverick is too big, it can't really get smaller. That's what she said.

You see pictures like this, then you sit in the Mav, it seems to defy physics! No way it should feel as roomy as it is! 😲

Lotta stupid people hanging out on sites like Jalopnik and such who argue that "The maverick could be even smaller with a two door cab and a slightly longer bed". Yeah, but it wouldn't sell well. I assume some are being facetious, but others seem genuine.
I would buy a two-door Maverick with a larger cab and longer bed

Of course the Maverick could be smaller. The F150 is just ridiculously huge. I honestly think the Maverick should be considered a midsize truck but Americans keep demanding bigger and bigger vehicles so there's nothing smaller.

Where's that graphic that shows the F150 over the years? The overall length has pretty much remained the same but the bed is barely half the size as a 1980s F150 while the height is more than a foot taller. It's like there's an arms race by the manufacturers to keep making taller and taller vehicles so drivers can continue to see over the vehicles in front of you. I pity the poor Miata drivers.

The new batch of ("full size") pickups have ridiculously tall hoods for no reason- tons of empty space and worse pedestrian visibility just so they "look bigger".

And I drive a Miata to work every day it's not rainy out! Wife loves Mav so she drives it but I 'borrow' it when it's wet and she drives minivan...

Ford's T3 (The next gen lightning but called Thunder instead) apparently has a much lower front end. It's been described as a futuristic and radical looking '97-03 f-150 by insiders. So Ford might start to move away from this high grille trend. Expect GM and Ram to do what they always do and copy Ford if that's the case.

On the EV's, they don't have to make 'em so big to meet CAFE requirements.

Size of the Maverick is important; however, like a lot of things, it is performance that counts. So far, I am both pleased and satisfied with the performance of my Maverick!!;):)
That' what She said! LOL I couldn't help it LOL
