Isn't that true for all insurance companies though? Rates are going up for pretty much everyone, regardless of their claims history. Insurance companies are paying out record amounts every year now and they eventually have to pass those costs on to their policy holders.

Pretty sure occasional harsh braking and or phone handling is okay. I suspect if you consistently do either, it will reduce your discount.

You're either being disingenuous or naive. The definition has nothing to do with the fact they can and are being used for political purposes.

Different states and insurance companies have different rules. Some states allow you to register a vehicle that won't be driven and insurance is way less in that scenario.

I considered that option have had squirrels chew thru the high-pressure fuel line. Starting the truck remotely in that scenario would result in a burned out hulk. :eek:

I've got a soft trifold and haven't had a problem with water but I drive on dusty gravel roads pretty regularly and dust finds it's way into the bed.

Yeah Christmas lights on a passenger vehicle are kinda cool but flashing ones? Not so much.

Just playing devil's advocate here but an XL can check all those boxes, except for the seats, and is at least $8k cheaper. You can get really nice aftermarket leather seats for a fraction of $8k. Granted a Lariat comes with more bells and whistles but those aren't on your list.

I'm not in the market to sell but Carvana just offered me $25,600 for my low-mileage 22 XL that I paid $27,000 for new. So I'm pretty sure the used car market isn't saturated :unsure:
